Create a sweet array of favorite family snapshots with our framed ornaments in an assortment of shapes. Square Framed Ornaments

I had ordered two of these for each of my son's. One of my son's came out fine, the other had his name written so low on the matting that you can't see half of his name. It was supposed to be a gift for his grandma and I really can't give it to her when it looks like that.

Personalization Too Expensive

I have bought these frames every year since 2007. I buy at least 4 each year. I will not pay $7 to have the year put on them. That almost doubles the price. I called the store and got the pre made ones shipped to me. They will have the year in red instead of gold but they are only $8 each. Really disappointed in PBK.

I have bought these frames for many years very upset that PBk raised the price the frames do not stay closed had to tape most of the frames in the back just to hang on the tree way to expensive!!!!

I purchased 3 of these frames last year and as other reviewers stated, personalization was included. I can't justify spending $15 for ornaments of 'Ok' quality. In store they sell these ornaments with 2012 already printed on them for $8, so I picked up those instead. Very disappointing PBK.

Now too expensive

This would've been my 5th year to order these ornaments. I was hoping to eventually have an entire tree of these ornaments with my kids' pictures. However, like the previous reviewer, since they've not only raised the price since last year but are now charging $7 for personalization, it's no longer worth the price. For $15 this would have to be the best ornament in the world and though I've loved them in the past, they're not worth that at all. This year I've gone to the craft store, purchased wooden ornament frames and will paint them myself. Sorry Pottery Barn, you just lost another yearly customer (oh, and I usually ordered at least 10 of them to give as gifts). Too bad...

I've ordered these for the past 5 years. They look great on the tree and my son enjoys taking them out and looking at his pictures from the first years of his life.
In years past, personalization has been included in the $8 cost. Paying nearly double the cost just to have this item personalized seems absurd! Please bring back the free personalization on these frames- it isn't that costly to print a matte!
I would have loved to have continued this tradition, but I refuse to do so at this price.

AWFUL quality

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I bought five of these, all with personalization, all very very poor quality.
None of the ornaments close correctly. A few of the mattes with the personalization still have jagged edges and one of the mattes is actually ripped, right next to personalization etching.
I have ordered these in the past, specifically for the last 4 years. I had intended to make keepsakes for my family for years to come. I will be lucky if these make it though ONE christmas season!!
Seriously, better quality can be bought at the dollar store! DO NOT buy!!

Personalized insert separate; bent

We used the red versions of these ornaments for last year's Xmas cards, but they were purchased in-store and pre-printed with the year. They look AMAZING on the tree. I love them. I decided to order the silver for this year's photos. My only disappointments are that the insert cover is not glass (it's plastic), and that the personalized matte is separated out from the ornament, so unless you KNOW to expect that, you are apt to pull out all of the packaging and bend the matte--which happened to me. I think that PBK should have taken the extra time to insert the personalized matte so that it would not be bent upon opening. I'm hoping they will reprint my matte.
