Nice unique touch for a boy's room

I love the way this lamp looks. We purchased this wall sconce as well as the tabletop version. They look great and add a unique touch to my 5 year old son's room.
My husband who installed it sees room for improvement, however. He agrees it looks great, but reminded me that the mounting holes were not in alignment. Additionally, we wish the switch was on the lamp rather than the cord. And that detail should have been included in the website description. Finally, there is a silver tube covering the cord hanging down, which is a nice design touch, but it isn't very long and there is still quite a bit of electrical cord showing.
Despite these areas for improvement, I still really like the lamp. And my son likes them too!

Nice Sconce

I was looking for a sconce for my son's wall next to his new bunk bed. The Fisherman Sconce was perfect as it plugged into the wall (didn't want to deal with hard wiring). The finish matches other existing lamps in his room purchased from PBK. It is cute and appears to be of high quality.

I'd put these in any room

We bought these to flank our daughter's crib in her nautical themed nursery. They're beautiful, and the light is soft and soothing (we used Edison bulbs). We also have them plugged into an outlet that is hardwired to a dimmer. The effect is fantastic. Only complaint? The metal extension that is supposed to hide the cord is maybe 16 inches at best, so it looks a little awkward on the wall - cord is visible below the cord cover, it just sort of dangles there and looks strange.

Bought this for the guest room my grandsons use when they come to visit and it is PERFECT! Nice weight, glass is thick and not flimsy. We live on a lake and the room is red, white and blue. I wanted a bedside light but didn't want it tabletop because boys will be boys. This fit the bill. Put an Edison bulb in it and it looks great. The only downside is the cord cover could be a little longer but we just covered the extra and painted it the room color.

Very good quality and finishes! Matches perfectly for a boy nautical theme. Plug-in cord is long enough to allow a higher mount. Very happy with purchase!

Love the light, it was perfect for my son's room. Looked everywhere for unique lighting and found it at pbkids the quality is amazing. I have found a new store to shop.

Not just for kids

I needed a fun light for the stairwell at our beach house. After looking at all sorts of options in traditional "grownup" lighting stores, I saw this one in the catalog. It is perfect and a lot less expensive than any comparable fixture I saw in a lighting store. We get lots of compliments on it, and no one suspects in came from a childrens catalog!

the lamp is exactly as described. I just think the light itself - when switched on- is a little "cold" even with the softest bulb. But I love the design.
