I was really happy when I opened the box, the Pinboard was really pretty. the frame is very ornate and well made. The only reason I gave it four stars was because you cannot open the pinboard from the back if you wanted to change the fabric (which I was totally planning to). It looks like you can open it, it has two pieces on the back like a frame but it is must be glued shut because I tried to pry it open and no luck but I still would purchase it knowing that because it is beautiful and as soon as I find some antique looking pins for it I plan on putting it in my daughters room. I love it and more important my daughter loves it :)
