Fair Isle Stockings
As cozy as a winter sweater, our Fair Isle Stockings add a warm touch to the mantel. The ample size won't limit Santa's generosity, and a personalized cuff gives family members their own special sense of anticipation. Small Fairisle Stocking: 7" top width x 12" sock length x 18" long Large Fairisle Stocking: 7" top width x 11" sock length x 27" long Sherpa Stocking: 8.5" top width x 11" sock length x 20" long Chunky Knit Stocking: 6" top width x 24" long Fairisle Stocking is sewn of a wool-acrylic blend and lined with pure cotton. Sherpa Stocking is sewn of pure, soft sherpa with a velboa lining. Chunky Knit Stocking is knitted of pure wool using a thick natural wool yarn and a chunky knit. Sold individually. Personalization is available for an additional $7.00 (Chunky Knit Stocking can not be personalized). Imported.

I bought this stocking for my daughter's first Christmas so that it would match my son's stocking that I had bought in the same style but different color two years ago. I had it personalized with her name but was a little disappointed that it wasn't the same size font as my son's. I also noticed that her name was stitched to the cuff and to the inside of the stocking. My son's is stitched to the cuff only. Although I am disappointed in the stocking it is very good quality and they both look adorable hanging side by side. They are VERY large stockings maybe I should have thought about buying smaller one's since it will take a lot of gifts to fill it up!

Ivory Stocking is Pinkish-Brownish

I have 6 of the Fair Isle stockings, all are wonderful, except the Bird (Ivory one). I ordered it this year for a new baby and it came pinkish-brownish versus Ivory. Also, unlike previous years, they embroidered through TWO layers of the stocking versus just the cuff. When you embroider through two layers, the name looks puckered and is harder to read. Get it embroidered yourself. Pottery Barn, please go back to embroidering through one layer only.

These are nicely made. The colors are vivid. They are longer than a standard stocking, so I recommend them for larger fireplaces. They may darwf a smaller mantle.

Just what I wanted!

Received the small red and cream striped Fair Isle Stockings in the mail today. Not only did they arrive quickly, but they are lovely. Had our family's names embroidered in red and they look great. They are red and cream, in a nice wool, and lined with cotton. The size is just right. I wouldn't know how to fill the larger size.

Beautiful Stocking

I got this stocking and can't wait to put it up for Christmas. It is prettier than the pictures shows and is made very well. This stocking will be used for many years to come.

I am very picky where my stockings are concerned. In fact I have been unable to find stockings that met my standards in the past. I've been considering purchasing these stockings for a year. I am so glad I got them! They are wonderful. The quality is out of this world. They look great. The only thing is, that I needed to pay attention to the dimensions a bit more. They are HUGE! Now I am worried about having enough to go in them. I may just have to go out and get a pack of socks and a pack of underwear to shove down to the bottom so they're full. :-)

I am so pleased with these stockings! Although we just got them, they appear to be of great quality. They're a little larger than I expected, but I like that even better. We have two of the beige topped stockings, and just to note, they are not the same beige. I like them being different, but this may bother some people. I would definitely recommend these--and already have!

I am purchasing the Fair Isle Stockings once again. My Grandmother made hand knit stockings for us. I had someone make them for my children and 1st grandchild. I now have 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and these are the closest I have found. We love them.

I spent a lot of time thinking about these stockings and finally after reading the reviews I figured I would be happy with them. I received them within 4 days of ordering which made me very happy. And I was more than satisfied with the product. Very high quality stockings. They are extremely high quality and all the reviews regarding them being off white/cream ....they are but they are beautiful. They look antique almost. I am very very very pleased and I cant wait to use them this year. The monogram is appropriate size for stocking however some people do like larger fonts and I can see where they may be disappointed. If you like larger font I guess you could monogram them locally rather than using pottery barn to monogram. But if the local monogrammer messes up...you will be out a stocking!

The Sherpa stocking is so soft and thick. We love it and it looks pretty with the red lettering. Just be aware that it is more of an off white than a true white if that's what you're looking for. I think it looks great.

Loved one, disappointed in the other..

I purchased the green/red striped stocking for my husband (which we love), and the white and the white/red striped stocking for myself..and I have to say, I was disappointed with mine. The "white" color was really more of a beige, not at all how it looked in the photo. It's not that it looks bad, it's just that it doesn't coordinate with our sons stocking, which has a very bright white in it. Since I already had my stocking embroidered with my name, there's no going back..

I purchased 3 of these in 2010 and they are wonderful. I ordered the large stockings, in green, cream, and red. They are huge and can hold a lot of Santa's gifts! I did have them personalized and it looks great. No sure about other complaints that say the font size is too small, but the ones I ordered look great! Very pleased!

For so long I wanted nice stockings for my husband and I. These are beautiful, and very large. They are very well made, and nicely lined. My only complaint is that when I had our names put on them I didn't realize the font would look so small. I ordered two of the other styles of stockings for my kids, and the font size was much larger and looked more to scale. Which doesn't make sense because these are larger than the others. That being said, I still really love them.

These are fabulous stockings. They are even larger in person than they appear online and are excellent quality. They are very thick (with lining on the inside), soft and will hold all of the items Santa intends to place in them :)

These are adorable stocking. Perfect for the whole family, not too kid-ish but not too grown up either. I don't know why there are negative reviews, they are beautiful, high quality, way better than you can find anywhere else. I didn't get mine monogram though so can't speak about that. Also, the colors are perfect...not too bright but very warm tones that can blend with any decor. LOVE LOVE LOVE them and will use them forever.
