Fairfax Lunch Bag -Replacement
May 21, 2013
We purchased this item as a replacement lunch bag after the zipper broke on the first one. It is a good size and matched our son's bookbag. I am concerned that the zipper may break on this one too, but I like that it can easily clip onto the backpack. So I'll just keep my fingers crossed. A little disappointed that we can no longer get the Captain America shield on it.

Just okay; does not match
April 29, 2013
My son already has the navy backpack and navy rolling duffle/suitcase, so the lunch bag that conveniently attaches made sense for kindergarten.
Except for the huge fact that the two navy's do not match. So the lighter lunch bag is clipped onto the darker book bag.
We love the backpack, but there are better lunch bags out there (and this one leaks as well).

Loved it!
March 6, 2013
My son loved this lunch box. It's great quality, cute, and reasonable for what you get. I didn't know it had clips on the back to hook onto his backpack - a great feature! I highly recommend it.

Sloppy monograming and the shield missing
January 4, 2013
I just returned this bag because the monogram was sloppy made and the "Captain America shield" that we ordered on the bag was missing. Very disappointing since this was a christmas gift.

Good buy, quality slightly lacking
November 29, 2012
We bought this for our son to take to daycare. So far it's great other than within the first week of use one of the zipper pulls started to fray. Luckily it was an easy fix at home, but for the price, I'd expect a little better quality.

Not Durable
September 3, 2012
I have used Fairfax gear for years without complaint. I ordered this lunchbox as a replacement of one we used for several years and I am very dispointed this one. My son has only been in school for a few weeks and the mesh lining on the inside has already begun ripping. Sadly, this is not a quality product.

No impressed
August 23, 2012
I really did not like this bag. It is soft-sided and it seemed kind of cheaply made. I absolutely HATED the clips in the back. They are supposed to be for clipping onto the backpacks but the clips are huge and clunky and easily scratch tabletops, etc. We have the Batman lunchbox which we absolutely love, but my son can only bring plain colors to his school. I was expecting this to be like the Batman lunchbox minus the picture. This was a big letdown. I mailed it back.

Don't waste money on designs
August 13, 2012
I have this same lunch bag in the old style for my daughter. I ordered this one for my son with the football design. I hadn't even used it 1 time and the design came right off. It seems like it is just iron on and not of good quality. Maybe it should be stitched in like the personalization so it stays on. Didn't like it much anyway because the football should have been brown with white rather than blue and brown. Didn't show up well on the blue lunch bag. Now there is an outline of where the football was and wish I would have just done the personalization with no design like I did for my daughter. I just recommend getting the lunch bag and no design.
