Our cotton terry bath towels have caterpillar, leaf and sun appliques rendered in the collage-style Eric Carle's books are known for; satin-stitched dots trim the towels and washcloth. Pure cotton looped terry. 550-gram-weight. Detailed with appliques of brightly covered characters with satin-stitch embroidery detail. Personalization is available for an additional $7.00. Machine wash. Internet only. Imported.

The towels are soft and of high quality. The details are really well done and these are towels that I plan to keep for a long time as my child grows.

Adorable! I included a board book & plush Hungry Caterpillar to match! Fun gift! I wish the towels were softer but I'm sure they will soften up once washed!

Adorable towel set

I purchased the entire Very Hungry Caterpillar set for my son's bathroom. It is bright and cheerful and he adores it. I wanted something gender neutral in case our family expanded in the future, and this definitely fits the bill. I have purchased two sets of these towels - the first was great. The second had some loose threads after the first wash. Hopefully that was an isolated incident.

Soft, beautiful towels

Love these towels that I just received for all 3 kids. The stitching is great and the colours are so vibrant. The thickness is just perfect, not too stiff and heavy and not too thin and flimsy. Such a cute addition to our kids bathroom. Also purchased the matching shower curtain. Great PB quality.

Very colorfull and beautiful

I just decorate my kids bathroom, it looks beautiful, very colorful and bright! the materials are great! I love it! My kids were so exited when they saw the new bathroom. The youngest one was touching everything and the oldest one was very surprise! I have a boy and a girl and it is perfect for both of them!

Hungry Caterpillar towels

These were a gift, and I was disappointed in the weight of the towels' pile. Would rather have paid a bit more for more heft.

Great design, very disappointing quality

The design of these towels is fantastic. The quality, however, is not. The towels are very thin and rough. I would return them if I hadn't had them monogrammed.

Towels are very poor quality and not at all like the standard towels PBK sells. I washed them on cold and they still bled-- turning the white a blue/green tint. They also pilled. I washed the towels again to see if the coloring/pilling would improve and one of the hand towels frayed along the side. Very disappointed. I bought the entire bathroom set and sadly, everything is being returned.

Fuzzy Caterpillar it is not

I am a long time fan of The Hungry Caterpillar and my daughters are new fans, so this was a must. I was disappointed in the quality of the towels. The bath towels are not "fuzzy caterpillars", they are more like cocoons, rough. I purchased (and monogrammed) a towel set for each of my daughters and one of the bath towels edging has already ripped and frayed. For how much the towel set cost I expected a better quality.

Happy About The Hungry Caterpillar!

I ordered the personalized bath towels for my grandson, and they are perfect!! The vibrant colors and excellent quality are everything one would expect from the combination of the artist, author Eric Carle and Pottery Barn Kids....I plan on ordering much more from this line in the future :-)
