The Very Hungry Caterpillar(TM) Decorative Sham
We've used artwork from Eric Carle's beloved children's story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar to create a sham kids will love. A large caterpillar applique is pieced from colorful cotton percales, ginghams, dots and stripes and then framed with an oversized red gingham print. 12 x 16" Pure cotton. Appliqued caterpillar are embroidered with satin-stitch and French knot details on white baby-wale corduroy. Caterpillar pillow reverses to a red and white yarn-dyed gingham. Pillow has an envelope closure; insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

cute decor but disappointed with the engraved!

Maybe they were rushing to complete orders for Christmas, the pillow came with a poor work on the personalization of my duaghter's name....not like Pottery Barn Kids quality

The quality of the pillow shams are good, however I should have paid more attention to the size and actually gotten a ruler out to measure them. They are smaller than a travel pillow. They don't come with the actual pillow and finding an insert for them has been a real challenge. To top off the disappointment of how small they were, one of the names I had embroidered on the pillow was crooked.

I love the very hungry catepillar and so does my daughter and son-in-law so we're going to get more. I wish the edge would come in other gingham colors but still adorable! We got his name monogramed which adds that personal touch!

Beautiful little pillow

This pillow is a nice finishing touch to your hungry caterpillar sheets. It looks really cute between two standard pillows on a full sized bed, esp. with a monogram! My toddler likes to snuggle it and my only complaint is that the white corduroy background picks up stray fibers, lint and fuzzies like a magnet.

Very cute. I recommend getting your child's name on the pillow. I had my son's name written in red and it is adorable! Highly recommended!!

My daughter who is 2 loves the hungry catapilliar. She has both of the pillows because we couldn't decide on just one. She snuggles with them at bedtime. I like them as a mom because first off they are soft and second super easy to wash ( which I do weekly). Also I ended up putting a travel pillow in one of the covers so my daughter could have the option of a squishier pillow.

Lovely gift ideas

I bought these cushions as a gift - the butterfly and the caterpillar for my niece and nephew who share a room. I was delighted with them, they are well made and the embroidered names looked great. I felt that they were very good value for money.

This cover is really cute, but if your child will be using this to sleep on I would suggest buying a travel pillow from your local dept. store. The PBK's pillows are great, but the 12x16 that fits this case was way too stiff for my daughter to sleep on. The travel pillow from the store fit perfect in this case and was a lot softer.

I ordered a sleeping bag, pillow and pillow sham from Eric Carle's line (The Very Hungry Caterpillar). I wanted the pattern with the butterfly and my granddaughters name embroidered in lavender.
The bag came in correct, but the pillow sham was the butterfly (in primary colors) embroidered in lavender!
The web page allowed me to choose the colors. I beleived I was going to receive the butterfly. The web page should not allow incorrect colors to be chosen.
I also believe the staff at Pottery Barn should check orders closer and phone clients when there is a question After working through the web site with a technician. He realized the error in the sight. I was offered free shipping on a new
