This skirt is beautiful - but rips way too easy. Can't count the times we've tripped over it!

So beautiful but tears w/out even stepping on it!!
August 7, 2012
I would love to give this a five star because it is so beautiful, but it's just way too expensive and rips too easily. My daughters bed is really high and the skirt doesn't even touch the ground and the tulle is all ripped on one side. Very disappointing!!!

too long for most children's beds
April 27, 2012
1st problem is this is a 21" drop bedskirt and it is way too long for most children's beds which is probably why most of the reviews state that the bed skirt rips and tears from people tripping over it.
2nd major issue is that it arrives in a wrinkled mess and how on earth are you to make it look smooth and neat as in the picture? Not so easy...
I just opened mine, tried it on the bed and decided I will return it next week...too much money for all the complaints...not worth it to me. I will try the chambray pink bed skirt instead (14" drop which is just the right length I need!)

Poor quality
January 13, 2012
We bought this for my 4 year old dauthger's room and it looked beautiful. Much like the other reviewers, it quickly started ripping. We too cut the ribbon off and that lasted for a while, but then the under layers started ripping off as well. We frequently trip over and get caught up in the bed skirt. My recommendation is to just go with a standard bed skirt and skip the hassle.

beautiful but poor quality
December 28, 2011
I thought this would be the perfect bedskirt for my daughter's bed. It is beautiful, but this one too, tore very easily. The ribbon separates from the tulle. It is such a shame since it is beautiful but it is not worth the money!

What makes her think she's a princess
December 18, 2011
This is a item to change Lizzy's room from a cute functional child's bedroom to a bedroom that makes her what to imagine and play with her babies like a princess.

Poor Material
December 12, 2011
I finally threw this bed skirt in the garbage just yesterday.
I loved this beautiful bed skirt and was actually online to buy a new one today. I thought my situation was a fluke until I started reading the other reviews.
Like all the other reviewers, my bed skirt separated from the tulle. I, too, placed it on the other side only to have it separate again. I tried to sew it. I also, pushed most of it under the mattress. To no avail, it was so torn it looked awful on my daughter's bed. I thought I could just ignore it.
Unfortunately, it couldn't be ignored. Like the other reviewer stated, for the price, the material should hold up better.
Do not waste your money.

Loved but sadly disappointed :(
July 25, 2011
After the first week, the satin ribbon wripped down the side. Then the fabric started separating from the top, I kept pushing it up under the mattress. More satin separated on the same side. It was all on one side, so i could hide it. Then it started on the other side. I cut the satin ribbon off, you couldn't notice, but the pink fabric separating, you could not hide. It just falls to the floor. Should have asked for my money back when I could have. It is so pretty and I need the 20' L, but I give up!! Too much money and too much trouble!!

beautiful but too delicate
June 21, 2011
This is an absolutely lovely bed skirt, my daughter loves it and it just completes the look of her room. My only complaint is that it might be a bit too delicate for a child's room, the satin ribbon has almost completely torn off on one side.....I guess that has to be expected due to the type of lightweight tulle fabric, but for the high price I would hope for something that wouldn't tear quite so easily. A little disappointing in that respect, but overall a very beautiful skirt and I don't regret buying it, even though mine got torn.

adorable junk
June 18, 2011
I HAD to have this bedskirt and went beyond my better judgement when spending this much. I almost returned it when it came but I put it on the bed and it was beyond adorable. It was just 2 weeks later that I noticed my first separation of the satin from the tule. iT only got worse from there and I have decided to trash it. This after my foot got caught in the satin when holding the baby and it caused me to trip. Luckily, I was able to catch myself before we fell, but it is to the point of dangerous at this point. I would say that mine was perhaps a fuke, but I see that pther reviewers have the same issue.

Very Cute, but....
June 3, 2011
I loved this bed skirt and had to have it for my daughters room! I thought the price was a bit much, but it was the final touch that the room needed. It is super cute on, but is long and we haven't had it that long and the ribbon part of the hem is ripped off already on one whole side. It is beautiful though...

This is so beautiful. It completes the bedding to make it appear as if a little girl is living in her very own fairytale. Be careful it tears easily.

Beautiful but fragile
March 21, 2011
This is one of the most beautiful pieces we have in my 4 yr old daughter's room. It coordinates very well with the daisy canopy. Only problem is that the trim started to pull off and continues to get worse and worse. I am constantly tucking it under the bed. I'm not ever sure it's repairable. We are upgrading to a different size bed and although I am so tempted to buy a new larger one, I am also very hesitant since it is so fragile.

Beautiful BUT Fragile
February 1, 2011
I bought this skirt with ALL the other Barbie bedding, it just completed the look. I was just in love with how it all turned out. It was only a matter of days that it got stepped on and the ribbon pulled apart from the tulle. Now I have to tuck it under the bed and just not happy with how it looks. To expensive to be that delicate.

beautiful bed skirt
January 28, 2011
I had seen this tulle bed skirt in a PBK store before I purchased it, so I already was confident with the quality and appearance. It makes the room! It is such a unique piece and is well worth the money. We have had no problems with tearing. (So far, so good!) I give it a definite 5 stars.

Too fragile
January 23, 2011
The bedskirt is falling apart. The ribbon is tearing off the tool and it only took a week. The bedskirt is beautiful but does not hold up.

Overpriced
January 8, 2011
The tulle bed skirt arrived on time and in good shape. But considering its price, I expected top-notch quality and it is just average. I am thinking about returning it.
