Nice hardware

This window hardware is very nice and excellent for layering sheers with curtains. A bit difficult to install but looks nice when done.

Flimsy

I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. We ordered the small rod, and used it at a length of 46 in (it goes up to 48"). As the rod is flimsy, there is no middle hardware support provided, and the rod doesn't actually "screw" to the length you set it at (it just pulls out to whatever length you want) - the rod bows in the middle - creating a drooping effect. Also, the caps on the ends of the inner rod came off and didn't screw back on. To avoid the hassle of returning it, and waiting for another one, we are just super glueing them.

Beautiful and Subtle

I am happy we went with the double add on kit for our nursery curtains. I was able to buy a beautiful linen sheer to match our silk dupioni curtains from pottery barn. I love that we can open the silk curtains and still allow the sheers to block off sunlight when needed. I bought the medium size rod even though my window fits the dimensions of the small. I extended the rod length over the top of the window sill by one foot on each side and hung them up just beneath the crown molding for a very dramatic 'window' look and this piece was essential in creating that look. Not only does the window look bigger, but also the curtains and drapes add such an elegance to the room.

Sticks out way too far!

I thought this product would be perfect for a bedroom, but the rods stick out way too far from the window. Because of this, light streams out behind the drapes. I wish it did not jut out so far, because I do like the style of it. I will be returning this and will look for a rod set elsewhere. Bummed.
