Beautiful Small dresser

I bought this in the espresso stain and it matched the Larkin crib perfectly. It's very well made and will last years. I like that it's a bit narrower than most changing table because I have a small nursery. If this will be your only storage source it may be a bit tight as the drawers are on the small side but I have a closet too. It will look very elegant as a dresser later on. The hardware on the espresso version is not pewter like shown in the picture, it's more like an antique bronze.

Beautiful Dresser

I agree with another review that stated the drawers are rather small. We have found them to be adequate for socks, small shoes and similar items. Aside from that, the dresser is beautifully made with dovetail construction and solid wood. If all of Pottery Barn's furniture is this well made, I will spend the extra amount again in the future to gain better quality. We also bought the matching Darcy crib in espresso and have been very pleased.

Not the most practical

Shortly after receiving this item and testing it out I found the drawers very heavy and hard to open. There was very little space in the drawers and the top drawers couldn't fit much at all. Also vintage white is a bit on the cream/yellow side. This dresser would not have been an item that would have grown with my daughter. Just not enough room for the price.

Beautifully Made

The set is beautifully made and looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture. The safety features on the drawers were an unexpected plus. Although I could use a bit more storage space on the changing table topper, we've organized things to maximize the space well enough. I know it will remain a beautiful piece of furniture in my daughter's room as she grows.
