Glass star ornament

I ordered this ornament for all my nieces and nephews for Christmas. The shape and glass of the star is pretty. However, I had them personalized with their names on them and the etching isn't deep enough into the glass so you can't really see the names as well as I thought you would. I would have chosen a different ornament had I known that.

Crystal star ornament

I purchased a couple of things from Pottery Barn Kids & was happy with everything except this. The star itself looks like it's made from cheap glass, is chipped around the edges & is really poor quality, really disappointing! I had my son's name engraved on it for his first Christmas & I'm in Australia, so I probably won't return it. I'm just not happy with the quality at all.

This ornament turned out beautifully with my daughter's name engraved on it. Sure to be a keepsake! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it would have been nice to have an extra line under the name to include the year.
