We bought this for our 20-month old and it definitely grabbed his attention. We are using it to get him more familiar with numbers and counting, and it's working well so far. (Once in a while, he'll grab one of the pieces and say a number, which may or may not correspond with the block he's holding.) Overall, we are pleased with the purchase, but are giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because when it arrived, one of the sides of the base came unglued. It was easily fixed.

I bought this puzzle years ago (along with the pie-piece puzzle and the triangle puzzle) for my daycare. It's been popular with all the kids (1-12) and it's even survived BOYS. There must be no way to destroy it!
