Our durable canvas playhouse has all the details that encourage role-play, like flowers in the garden and a mail slot for deliveries. 46" wide x 30" long x 47.5" high Durable polyester oxford canvas is stain resistant and machine washable. Sturdy wooden frame provides a stable structure. Decorative appliques and stitching enhance its playful appearance. Ages 3 and up.

We gave this playhouse to our 2 1/2 year old for Christmas and she loves it. She brings her dolls, tea set and doctor kit in there and role plays. Very good for imaginative play. Lovely colors and durable canvas. I wish the windows had roll down curtains like the older version but overall very happy with the purchase.

Great for little girls!

Bought this a couple years ago for our little girl when she was 18 months old. Was such a great gift. The quality is amazing and it still looks brand new! The colors are so pretty in person and really looks lovely in her room. It's one of her favorite little spots to play in with her dollies.

I purchased the playhouse for my grand daughter last year. She loves it so much I bought one for my other grand daughter this year. The canvas makes it easy to keep clean, and it is sturdy. Much better than a cardboard playhouse.

Love this playhouse!!

My girls, now 1.5 and 3.5 years old got this for Christmas last year, and they love it. More importantly, I love it too. Excellent quality, easy to assemble(once my brother read the instructions) and tons of fun. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a playhouse!! If it can survive my little one, it can handle anyone.

I love the cottage and haunted house but can you please design a gingerbread house canvas liner? My kids would love a Christmas themed playhouse and I think it would be such a great seller!!!

the frame appears sturdy but ours broke and when i tried to order another, the told me i can only buy whole new set.... which is ridiculous because the costlier part is the fabric cover/house.

The curtains tie up, the original frame was sold separate, and is more sturdy with a door threshold at the bottom. My granddaughter is now 11 yrs old. nice xmas gift like new.

Very cute and as described. Only reason it doesn't get 5 starts is that I think it could have some more detailing and flaps on the windows so she could open and close them and peek out.

Great, but pricey

My daughter loves this cottage playhouse. The description on the website is wrong however and it doesn't have curtains (that would've been a nice touch). At $150 + tax+ shipping it's a bit expensive. I don't think it's worth that much, but it is good quality and she loves it.

This was a present for my 3 year old granddaughter. The house was cute but the negatives outweighed the positives. The frame was difficult to put together and after it was together the canvas playhouse did not fit correctly. The velcro did not attach as it should. The door would not close. There were no tie back window curtains in the house only open spaces for windows. I expect better from Pottery Barn.

Well, the kid loves it . . .

. . . but I have mixed feelings. The product description listed tie-back window curtains and, as other reviewers have noted, they don't exist (although the door does tie back). Since I'd read the reviews, I knew to expect that. A bigger problem is that the canvas is held to the wooden frame with velcro tabs, some of which - at least half - are barely long enough to wrap around the frame. In one case, the velcro only overlaps on the edges. This is a simple manufacturing error that really should have been caught in quality control. Having said all of that: the frame was easy to put together and seems sturdy, and my daughter loves it. The misplaced tabs don't really impede her play or make the cottage unsafe; I just expected better for the amount of money I spent.

I wanted this playhouse after seeing my neighbor's. Was disappointed that they changed the design. It does not have tie back windows, only the door can tie. I wish I had known about the change before purchase. Kids would like to truly hide!

A Must Have!

My 2 yr old daughter just received this playhouse from her Aunt a few days ago and has been "living" in it since! They quality is amazing and it is adorable. My daughter even drags her Dad into and he is 6'4". I like the construction of the frame, very sturdy and the canvas is great quality too (can be washed and dried). I put it together myself fairly easy just go over the directions first. The mail slot is a fun detail. I would highly recommend this product.

Cute, but....

This is a cute playhouse but I didn't realize it would be a permanent structure. It takes two people to set up and take down, it is heavy, and too wide to fit through a standard doorway assembled. I really wanted something I could take to different rooms of the house. Now this is stuck in our basement and the girls dont use it like I thought. Wish I had just gotten a cheap pop-up. If you are ok with it being a permanent structure in your room, then this is very cute. Also--there are no tie back window curtains (which would be nice so they can truely hide), just a tie back door.

I was very hesitant to buy this because I wasn't sure that it would get a lot of play value or that might girls might outgrow it too quickly. Definately is bigger than I expected. My girls love to get inside it and play. There is even room for mom! My 18 month old loves it the best! She thinks the windows are great and my 3 year old likes getting letters through the mail slot! Very pretty and sturdy. Much better than the collapsable metal frames. Definately worth the extra money.

Cannot move out of room once built

This was a Santa gift for my daughter. We put it together in our bedroom after the kids went to bed that night, then when we were sure they were asleep we had to take part of it apart so that it would fit through the doorway in order to get it beside the tree. Now we have to take it apart again in order to get it into her bedroom which will be its permanent home. It was less than an inch too big to fit through a regular-sized doorway with trim. Too bad it wasn't just an inch narrower.
Other than that, it seems well-built and was easy to assemble.

Happy Dance!

My 1 1/2 yr old daughter received this as her Christmas present. When she walked into her playroom and saw it she did a happy dance! She loves going inside and peeking out of the windows. We put the frame together a couple of days before Christmas and noticed a problem. We were able to return it w/o a problem. Glad we had some time to get it right. We love it so much that we are going to buy the Garage and keep an eye out for older models.
