Cottage Loft Bed
This extraordinary loft bed gives your child a magical place to play, dream and grow. It's built like a storybook cottage, with paneled siding, shutters, decorative window boxes and an attic window. Inside you'll find plenty of room for an activity table, play kitchen or toys. 80" wide x 43" deep x 73" high Handcrafted of kiln-dried wood. Finish is layered by hand for exceptional depth of color. Slat-roll foundation is designed for use without a box spring. The open back is designed to sit next to the wall, and the ladder can be placed on either side of the bed. Pair with our Classic Plush or Pillowtop Mattresses (sold separately). The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that top bunks not be used for children under 6 years of age. This bed is is well worth the money! Super sturdy, and super cute, so many options for play time! The best part is that she loves to go to bed and in for a nap!

This bed is beyond amazing. Exceeded my expectations by a landslide! It is unbelievably sturdy! It is for my 4 year old and she absolutely loves it. She cannot wait to go to bed. There are absolutely no downsides to the bed. I wouldn't worry about her falling out because the railing is a lot higher than I thought it would be. Amazing Amazing. And they put it together for you. Can't beat it! I would highly recommend this to any littler girl!

Dream Bed

The cottage loft bed is a little girl’s dream bed. It is breathtaking when you enter the room. It is well crafted and beautifully painted. My 3 year old daughter loves it. It took her a few times to master the ladder, but now she has it. Just make sure to have night light. There is plenty of room underneath for a kitchen, or stove and small table and chairs. I wish it came in a full size to have even more room to play. I slept there with my daughter the first night. It is cozy and comfortable. We have a bunk mattress and the side rails are plenty high...no need to worry about falling out. We bought the PBK daisy garden bedding to go with it…simply gorgeous. We couldn’t be happier. Benjamin Moore sells the same color paint in simply white, so my husband refinished the armoire she already had. It goes perfect. My 6 year old and their friends love playing in it, too. (Lots of imaginative play). Sure, it's a bit pricy, but worth it. You will be glad you bought it.

It's just as adorable in person as in the catalog !! My 14 year old is jealous !! I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and she just loves it ! The bed arrived in about 1 1/2 weeks . Delivery was on time,they assembled it in 30 minutes,very efficient !! Hoping to put curtains in soon. Wish it came in full size,for more room to play !!

My daughter got this bed when she had just turned 3. It took about a day to get familiar with the ladder but after that, she had no problem. She has a small room and this is perfect! It has plenty of space to play and have her toys underneath. It was worth every penny. I actually ended up getting the boy firehouse version for my 5 year old son because I was so impressed with this one.

Even though the warning states not for children under 6, we went ahead and got this for our 3 yr old. She just got out of her crib and this was her "big girl bed". We all love it! I was curious about how secure she would be, but she seems very safe in it. She can't roll out because of the way it is designed. The only difficulty is the ladder, which has rather large spaces between the rungs (steps). The space underneath is probably her favorite part...many toys can fit there, yet she asked for curtains and a door lol. My only complaint was the delivery company, who left many screws undone and put a dent in the wall. However, Pottery Barn was very glad to resolve this matter.

very cute...could be better

I received my cottage loft bed today..its ADORABLE...one of the scalloped trim pieces had fallen off during transit...so it needs to be re-glued...yes...it was glued on...
I wish the trim pieces were really on there better, with nails or screws. Also, the "window boxes" are just trim pieces...there really is no opening to put any artificial flowers in them...the photos on line are very deceiving about that feature. (the flowers in the photos must be fixed on the interior of the windows)
Other than the small damage and the "window boxes" this loft bed is really beautiful and I think my granddaughter will LOVE playing under it ( we had plenty of room to put a full kitchen set inside!) and sleeping in it.

I knew my daughter would love this bed when I saw it online; however, I was hesitant to buy her a loft and thought I might stick to a more traditional bed on the ground. The cuteness and play potential won me over, and our whole family is thrilled! The loft is securely surrounded by an ample railing which my daughter finds quite comforting, almost crib-like. Her sisters, ages 2, 6, and 9 love to play below the loft. Quality is excellent.

the best bunk bed

We just got this bed for my daughter's birthday and also because we wanted her to have more space to play. She loves it, she feels like it's her little house. We love it, no regret, it's really worth it!

Love, love, love this bed!!! My daughter was speechless when she walked in from school and saw it!! It is simply adorable!! I took an old bedskirt and created window treatments and with it being close to Christmas we just put up a small tree that fits perfectly in the window!!! It has already created hours of imaginary play...my daughter is currently working on a housewarming with the grandparents. :-) Love This bed!!

We've only had this bed a few days and my princess loves it. It's seems of great quality and everyone that comes over seems to notice. The screws are noticeable in the inside but it really dont make the bed any less adorable. The bed is kind of high but my 2 and 3 yr old had no problem climbing up and down. Great sturdy bed, we've gotten alot of compliments on it.

this bed is so beautiful and fun to play under. my only complaint is the ladder. it is a little difficult to climb (for me) but my 7 year old seems fine with it.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE IT WISH I WAS A KID AGAIN, CAN WAIT TO GET THE KITCHEN SET.. MY DAUGHTER AND SON ARE DELIGHTED THERE ALWAYS INSIDE THE HOUSE PLAYING, IT'S MADE OF STURDY WOOD AND IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE PICTURE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. (THIS BED IS NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN SINCE THE BED GOES ON TOP AND IS VERY HIGH. MY KIDS JUST USE IT TO PLAY UNDERNEATH.)

Little Girl's Dream Bed

This is a really great bed. Although the quality is good, I am glad I didn't pay full price for this (I snagged it while it was about $200 off). It is probably worth the full price, but maybe not if you are super picky.
My only complaints are 1) that my bed has the tiniest crack and seems a little off on the side where the ladder is - it is barely noticeable, and not worth the trouble of trying to replace it, and 2) the inside is not as finished as I'd hoped it would be (the slats under the mattress are unfinished and the screws all show on the inside, etc.,) and 3) I wish they would make some curtains available (maybe with velcro strips?) for the windows like the ones shown in the catalog (maybe in their usual color choices like the drapes on their website).

Ok so I spoil my 20 month old granddaugher. Bought this for her and she loves it! It will be a while before she can use the bunk, but in the mean time she is enjoying the house. Great quality and looks adorable in her play room.

This bed is so wonderful! We only received this bed only two days ago, but I am very happy with it. When it was delivered the guys were a half hour early, and set it up quickly. They even moved it when I decided it would be better turned another way. The quality of the bed is very good also, it seems sturdy and you can tell that the wood is solid.
I decided to get the loft bed b/c I wanted to be able to use floor space for playing, as space can be tight. Since we were transitioning from a toddler bed to a 'big girl' bed, I thought that I would need to watch my daughter as she climbed up and down the latter or keep the toddler bed set up for a few nights until she got used to it. However, after one trip up it is easy for her to go up and down and she isn't scared at all (I did place a large stuffed animal under the ladder just in case). I can see how this will last for the next 7-8 years, until she outgrows playing house.

I love this cottage bed but wish they would make it in a full/queen size bed. I have 2 small daughters that share a room and would love to buy this for them to share. Please consider making it to fit a full/queen size bed. Thanks.
