Very Disappointed

I have been a loyal Pottery Barn customer for years and have NEVER been disappointed with a purchase...until now. I bought these stockings to match ones from previous years and they not only changed the style but the quality is no where near previous Pottery Barn standards. The workmanship is very poor and the material and stitching looks cheap. This makes me very sad and nervous to order from them again...will future products be this way?? I did call to make a complaint and they did refund my money, I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Matches the Quilted Stockings

I ordered two of these ("mom" & "dad") to match my son's quilted train stocking. PB also accidentally sent me the angel quilted stocking with my son's name on it... kinda funny. The classic red stocking looks great with the quilted stockings. They're very cute together. I ordered all this year so I see no discrepancy in size or quality.

Stitching was bad

This stocking was cute but the stitching was awful. It was not done in a well looking manner. I would order the stocking but take it else where to have the stitching "Professionally" done. That was the only problem that I had with it, other than that it's a super cute stocking.

Great stockings!

This was my third PBK stocking purchase, and I have to say that I am very pleased with the beauty & quality of them! They are very roomy so you can stuff a lot of goodies inside! This year, I purchased the classic red velvet stocking for my parents as gifts. I had them monogrammed with their pet names, given to them by our children, and they turned out beautifully!! My mom has now gone on to purchase one for each family member! They also work well with the quilted stocking collection! My whole family is in love with these stockings!!

Not the quality I expected...

I have two stockings from pottery barn that are four years old. I looooove them!!! I ordered two stockings for my children and I am not happy with them. They are smaller, the quilting is barely there, and the embroiderlly is not the same. It is done through all layers and makes it look cheap! These stockings will be replaced...not the forever stockings that I was looking for.

Wow..... I was very pleased with my stocking. Ordered 4 with monogramming. They were large with great feel and color. Glad I ordered them because I almost passed since a few reviews were less than stellar. The stitching is very high quality with no gaps. Would definitely recommend these stocking. My family will enjoy these for years to come.

I ordered this expecting a great stocking because it is from Pottery Barn. It is even better than expected!! It's a good size and super soft. Not only that but it is adorable! It should last my baby for a long time!! Very happy with this purchase :)

Different than pictured

The stocking is brighter red than the picture. I bought it to match previous pb stockings and it doesn't match at all. Also, the picture does not show the quilting on the stocking and in person it looks wrinkled. It does mention quilting in the description, butting does not say where.

Great stockings

I waited to purchase these stocking for a long time because i have a large family and wanted to be able to get everyone a stocking. These stockings are beautiful and very well made. They look wonderful along my banister, and add a very homelike feeling to the holiday.

Red Velvet Stocking

I purchsed a classic red velvet stocking last year for my baby (the one pictured in the group picture of the stocking). I ordered two of the same stocking this year for my husband and I so we could all have matching stocking. The stockings that I recieved today are not the same as the one I ordered last year. The quality on last year's stocking is so much better. The one I received today is smaller, shorter, the stitching is different around the top and the quilting on the front is different. I was very dissapointed about the stocking that I received today. They look very cheaply made compared to the one I bought last year. I hope Potter Barn brings back the older stocking for next year.

Bigger than I thought

I love the stocking. It is much bigger than I had expected and seems to be good quality. Very plush and stitching and monogramming is nice. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish it matched the other Pottery Barn stockings that we already have. This is a much brighter red than our others but will work with a little seperation for our newest addition to the family.

Wish they kept the same style year after year

My whole family has PBK stockings and I was so excited to order one for my son whose first Christmas is this Christmas. However, when I got it in the mail and compared it with my other ones I saw that it is much shorter than my old ones. Also they embroidered through the first and second layer at the top so I can't adjust it all. It's still a beautiful stocking but it doesn't fit in with our other ones.

The material on this stocking is very nice. Extremely soft to the touch. It is extremely padded/quilted too. It is a large size. I think it will hold lots of goodies for the entire family! definitely can fit a dvd in this (width wise). Stitching is nice too since we personalized ours. I am happy with it.

very happy with these- large, fun, well made, name personalisation looks great - ordered this one, the reindeer & santa woodland stockings, and the snowflake stocking. can't wait to put them up in December - they look great all hanging together, great addition to our Christmas decorating and generous size! worth the shipping to Australia!

Not the same stocking as previous years

I am so disappointed in PBK right now. I ran into this same problem 2 years ago when they changed their stockings. Then, they brought the *classic* red velvet stocking back. Now, once again, it's a completely different stocking! I have 3 children, and our last addition to our family is due next month. I was so excited to see the stockings become available, until I came across this stocking that does not match the rest of our family's stocking. Now what are we supposed to do? I love my stockings from PBK, and have paid a lot of money for them over the past 5 years, but I'm so completely disappointed that they've changed this stocking AGAIN.

Not the same stocking sold in years past

I am disappointed in this stocking because the design and size are different than the red velvet stocking sold in years past. Several years ago I purchased stockings for my entire family. We now have a new addition and I was excited to purchase a matching stocking for his first Christmas. However, when it arrived I realized it is much smaller than the old style and does not have the contrasting fabric on the "toe".
