Chesapeake Table & Bench
Give kids plenty of room for summer lunches and outdoor projects with our table and bench. Table: 27.5" wide x 43" long x 22" high Bench: 37" long x 11" deep x 14" high Crafted of FSC-certified, moisture-resistant eucalyptus. A polyurethane finish provides unparalleled durability and water resistance. Thick seat cushions have water-repellent, ring-spun polyester canvas covers that remove easily for machine washing; imported. Fits our weather-resistant, polyester canvas Chesapeake Umbrella (sold separately). Chesapeake finish coordinates with both Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids' Chesapeake collection. Reinforced opening fits our umbrellas, a plug is included for use without an umbrella. So Great I bought 2 Sets

I love this table because they are so versatille. It is perfect for outdoor and indoor parties. I have 2 of them I put together for my kids birthday parties, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and so forth. I buy PBK table runners and table top dishes for each holiday to really set it off. In the non- summer months I bring them inside and use them for Thanksgiving, Christmas and tea parties. It is beautiful enough that you don't realize it is an outdoor table. The kids love it and it makes them feel special. All of the adults want to know where did we get them because they are so great. They are very stury and parents can sit at them too. Don't hesitate to buy.

I just purchase the table, bench umbrella & cushion for a great price plus I pick up at the store so I didn't pay for shipping. The lady's at the store were super nice. This set is adorable, durable and I can sit at the table comfortable and have lunch outside with my child, overall really happy with this purchase.

I bought this table and bench set for my grandsons. It is beautiful. It matches the adult set my daughter-in-law bought from Pottery Barn. Well built, study, and very practical. They will be able to use it for quite a few years before they will outgrow it.

A cute table

This was such a cute table with the benches. I wanted a table for my kids and didn't want the plastic table but something nice since we do have a lot of kids come and play and eat in our backyard. I saw it online for a couple of weeks, but when I saw it in the store, I had to have it. It was easy to put together and looks great. I plan on bringing it inside during the winter and having the kids play on it in the basement. If I could change one thing about the table is to have the legs fold, but I recommend this table and all the cute accessories.

Quality that Lasts

I would highly recommend the Chesapeake table and benches from Pottery Barn Kids. As I was just giving ours a fresh coat of teak oil (only the second treatment since we've owned it) I realized I've had that set for 7 years. We purchased it just after our first child turned 4 from PB Kids in Oklahoma and it still looks great! (Except where the new dog used it for a chewy.) The only thing we've replaced is the bench cushions and the umbrella due to sun fade and those I purchased at the end of season last year. I can assure you it is built well because I frequently eat at it, sit on it, even stand on it to reach things. It will once again go through another season with my now 11 year old and 6 year old and I'm sure it won't be the last season either.

great looking and hiqh quality

First let me say i looked at many different table and bench sets for my daughters but kept coming back to this. I do not like plastic or childish looking furniture. This is my personal taste. I ended up payimg double of some other wood tables however all the other ones had issues. I am 5'5" and can easily sit at this table with my toddler and help her do many projects that are to icky or messy for indoors. Many of the other tables are 3 to 2 inches shorter. Another nice thing is how sturdy the umbrella is. Many other sets have a flimsy umbrella witha rubber cap as its base. Not very good at standing up to the elements. I have had this table outside in the rain and sun and it is an easy wipe down to clean. The cover is a bonus! Its nice and perfectly fits.

I bought 2 benches to go with the PB trestle table and had to cut the legs on the benches a couple of inches because at 14 inches high, these benches were too high for the table. After doing this, the benches were perfect for the table. Since the benches were on sale, it was well worth it.

Great Table

The table its self is a great buy, i have 2 girls ages 5 and 7, they love having there own place to sit and do their crafts. i wish the table was a little bigger so that my 7 year old will get more use out of it. all in all a great buy.

Great table!

I purchased this table over a year ago and moved it across the world when we were transferred overseas. It sat in the sun over 300 days a year and was then moved back to the states. It still looks brand new and came apart easily for our moves. I would highly recommend this table!!

My daughter got this set for her birthday and we absolutely love it! Both of my children get a lot of use out of it and it is very well made. The only negative is that it is almost too beautiful to keep outside.

dont get it wet!!!

dont get it wet or leave it in direct sunlight or expose it to extreme temperatures because it may crack. it have only had mine 3 days and it has already started to crack. i would return it but i already threw the box away. mine was exposed to rain and direct sunlight. i dont expect it to last threw the extreme cold or heat outside either. customer service was great and is sending me new benches but they are out of the table and mine is already starting to crack. not worth even the sale price to me since mine will not be kept on a screened porch and i cant control the temperature.

Took only 20 minutes to put together, absolutely beautiful color and wood. My 17-month old son loves the pieces! Hope the cover will be sold again soon.

We were very pleased with the Chesapeake table, benches and umbrella. They are very sturdy and were easy to assemble. We saw the set on your web site and just had to have it for our grandchildren.

great table and bench

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter..I put it together in an hour or so. It is so well made and sturdy. I bought this one because it was about 3 inches taller than another one I looked at online. I just thought it would last longer. I am very pleased with my purchase! I have now decided I should have ordered the umbrella and lanterns!

I bought this set last year, and I love the size of the table and bench. The problem with my set is the wood is very faded. This table sits in a shaded area, and we bring it inside during the fall/winter. I have tried using the wood oil but it is still very faded. It doesn't seem very water resistent to me.

Easy assembly, sturdy!

Put it together myself, very simple and easy. Had 30 kids over for garden party (ages 5-12) and the table and benches were perfect! Very easy to clean as well! In the winter will use it inside.

Wood stain fading

I bought this set for mi kids last summer and purchased a cover to protect the set. When we took the cover off this Spring 2010, the wood stain had faded on a big part of the table. It is too bad, the set looks nice and we ABSOLUTELY took great care of our product, yet the manufacturing does not seem so great.

Perfect for Kids at Adult table

We purchased the Chesapeake Rectangular Extension table from Pottery Barn. We bought the Bench to go along with the table, since our kids like to sit together, and a bench worked perfect! Very easy to assemble, and looks great!
