Border Chenille Rug
Incredibly soft and easy to clean, our chenille rug is ideal for high traffic areas. Herringbone weave lies flat, enabling it to be placed near doorways. Finished with a reinforced twill-tape border. Cotton-canvas/synthetic latex backing. Catalog / Internet only. Imported.

We are very pleased with this purchase. The rug is soft and cushion like. I have it with my son's Camo bedding that I purhased from PB Teen. It is a perfect match.

This rug is good quality. The flat weave is perfect on top of my shag-style carpet. It is super-soft too!

Awesome Rug!

I ordered the Navy Harper Crib Set (which I love as well) and I wanted to get a rug to go with. I did a lot of shopping around and came back to the Border Chenille Rug. This rug matches perfectly, of course, and I am so happy that I purchased this rug. It came well wrapped and was even delivered early. This rug is soft and perfect for a nursery and even an older boy's room. Very versitile. The center is very soft the outside is very soft as well. This rug looks very expensive and seems to be well made. I feel it was very reasonably priced as well. I worry about ordering things offline without seeing it in person first, but I have absolutely have no regrets with purchasing from Pottery Barn. I am always pleased with them!!!

Beautiful Rug!

We bought this rug to go with the Jackson bedding set for our sons nursery. The rug is very nice and of good quality for the price. It is on the thin side and so we are getting a rubber rug pad to put underneath. Otherwise, it is perfect.

Nice but sheds

We like the look of the rug, and although it isn't the softest rug, it is soft enough for a nursery. It, however, sheds quite a few small blue fibers no matter how many times we vacuum it. If my infant son lays on the rug, he ends up with blue fibers all over him. I would not recommend the rug for small children's rooms for this reason.

Purchased this rug for my son's room. Great quality and affordable. We put a waffle underneath so that it would not slide on the hardwood floor. It's nice and comfortable for him to sit and play on the floor now. Easy to keep clean. Very happy with this rug.

Seemed Great At First, But Worn After 4 Months!

I am a loyal Pottery Barn Kids customer and generally love all items that I purchase from them. I bought this rug for my son's nursery in August 2011 and in just four months time it is completely worn out and looks as though it has been around for years. Our nursery has very little foot traffic - so there is no way that it should be in such horrible condition. Obviously shoddy construction plus it sheds a lot. I would not recommend this rug - I think that there are much better rug selections at Pottery Barn. In fact, we just purchased a replacement rug from them because we couldn't bear to look at this rug any longer!

I was unsure how I'd like this rug based on some of the previous reviews I read, but I am more than pleased with it! You get pottery barn quality at a reasonable price... what more could you ask for?! We're getting a thick rug pad to put beneath it because we have hard wood floors and wanted a really soft thick rug. This rug is soft, but not thick like other pottery barn rugs due to the material. Regardless, I am more than pleased with the look, style, and comfort of this rug and would recommend to anyone!

Perfect for little boy

After searching for months, we decided on this rug for my son's nursery. We wanted something that he could also grow into and not anything too baby-ish. This rug is soft (he is crawling now), easy to clean (he is a spit-up machine), and hides dirt well. It is a little thin, so I recommend buying a thicker rug pad to go underneath. All in all, we are so happy with this purchase!

Just what I expected

We purchased this rug for our baby nursery and it is perfect! Very soft and doesn't seem to shed like some other rugs I have purchased. Looks great with the navy twill curtains!
