Angel charm broke after 2 hours

We gave this gift to our 6 year old today. Within 2 hours the clasp for the angel charm broke. I can clip it on with the sliding clasp used to secure the charm to the bracelet, but for $45 per charm this shouldn't happen. I had previously written a review for the heart charm where the engraving went off the top of the charm. So disappointed in this product.
