poor finish, cheap materials

We purchased this blanket as a gift and had the baby's name embroidered on the blanket.
We were very disappointed with the fabrics used to make the blanket which feel very cheap. We were even more disappointed with the stitching for the personalization, the stitching had not been tidied up. Overall we are dissatisfied with this purchase :(

Love this blanket!

This is the 3rd blanket I have purchased. Love the softness and warmth. Bought 2 for my grandson, and just purchased one in store for my soon to be born granddaughter. It's just enough blanket for Hawaii weather and small enough to carry in the car/stroller!

The blanket is super cute and seems high quality. Only draw back is that while it's soft it's not very flexible for a stroller, etc. Will be better to have baby use to play on the floor. It also must be washed on delicate, which is a bit of a hassle.

I ordered this gift for a friend in honor of the birth of her daughter. Both mother and baby love the blanket. The fabric is super cozy and soft and the overall construction and quality are superb! I ordered the custom monogram and was shocked to see my order arrive in 3 days. Thank you Pottery Barn Kids for yet again exceeding the mark!

Great blanket

I received the blue blanket with the truck as a gift. I love this blanket we use it everyday for my son. Very soft and the name was stiched on great. I reccomend this blanket as a gift it will last very long through lots of washes and drying. I also gave the pink bird blanket as a gift.

I purchased this gift for my daughter's stroller. I had it personalized and it was a huge hit. The blanket is soft and warm. It will grow with the baby and can be used in the crib too. The stitching and personalization was done beautifully. I hight recommend it as a gift.

My favorite blanket

I have to disagree with the previous two reviewers. I purchased the blue blanket with the zebra and it's beautiful. The material isn't cheap at all and it doesn't have a strange odor. It does wash a little strange though (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). I still love it though.

Cute, but very thin

I got the blue blanket with the truck. It looks cute, but the material is very thin. The engraving is neat, but not placed well. It would have been nice if it was centered above the truck, but it is slightly to the side. Overall, I'm disappointed. I'm not sure why companies offer cheap items - I'd rather pay more for better quality.

Absolutely precious, but...

I purchased the grey giraffe blanket for my son on the way. The product is beyond adorable. It really is, but it has a very distinct, unpleasant odor. I have washed it 3 different times with different detergents and cleansers and can not get the offensive odor out. I can only assume it is the dye from the blanket? So, while as far as softness and general appeal go, this blanket is wonderful, but the odor is quite problematic. I can only hope that I can resolve it before my son gets here.
