Features three pullout drawers for added storage. Slat-roll foundation is designed for use with or without a box spring. Pair with our Classic Plush or Pillowtop Mattress (sold separately). Well made bed

We were a little nervous about buying such a pricey bed, sight unseen, but we had not seen a good example of bed with storage drawers elsewhere. Some of the ones we'd encountered in generic furniture stores had poorly fitted, wobbly drawers that would have driven me and my newly-independent toddler nuts. Pottery Barn did not disappoint. The bed is beautiful and solid, clearly well-made with well-fitted, easily-sliding dove-tailed drawers. The delivery and setup people time were on-time, professional, and incredibly fast. We never even saw boxes. This bed will last my boy until college (we hope).

Great Bed

We probably wouldn't have purchased this bed had we not been able to get it on sale, but now that we have it, I am thrilled with the purchase. The bed is solid wood, well made and looks beautiful (we got it in the sun valley expresso). The drawers are nice and big - plenty of room for storage, which is great. I do agree with a previous reviewer that there is room for additional drawers on the other side - would be a nice option. No box spring is needed, and we were able to find a bed rail that slides under the mattress and is working great. Overall, we are very happy with the bed.

Great, But . . .

We bought this in white for my two-year-old daughter, and she loves it. The color is more of an off- or antique-white, than a stark white, which works well in her room. I love the storage drawers underneath, the quality construction, and the design; however, I think the price is high for what you get, and I'm glad that we were able to get this on sale.

What a great bed for kids. It is well made: solid wood, dovetailed drawers, & sturdy construction. A good value, it requires no box spring and the drawers are nice and deep to allow plenty of storage and eliminate the need for a dresser. There appears to be adequate room to allow for another set of drawers on the other side -- too bad one cannot order a set of drawers separately as well. The one drawback to the bed is that there is no room between the mattress and frame for a bed safety rail of any sort.

The best bed ever

We purchased this bed for my 2 year old. I was worried it would be too big but it wasn't. My son loves it and the drawers are a great size.
