Very pleased with this dresser. Using as a changing table.....found it to be good height with a changing pad on top. Had mix up with first order due to some marks and damage but customer service was A+ in correcting issue quickly and professionally!

Great First Dresser

I absolutely love this great little dresser and so does my 2 years-old son. It is exactly what I expected it to be. I find it to be a perfect first dresser for my little guy. It has a perfect height: it is tall enough for me and short enough for my son to reach to the top and place his toys. It is very sturdy and can withstand my kid opening and closing the drawers for hours at a time. One thing that I will say is that after being pulled on very hard by my son one of the knobs came off. It was an easy fix with using Gorilla Glue. The knob has a metal screw slot inside that I glued back, so there was no actual defect or damage to the part itself.
Prior to ordering, make sure that you read the measurements of the dresser and apply them in its future location. That way there are no surprises.

Perfect between 2 beds

This dresser functions both as a "nighstand" and a dresser that sits between both of our twin Catalina beds. It is small, but I knew that when I purchased it. My boys have a very large room, so I wanted something bigger than a nightstand to go between their beds. It will hold most of my 5 year old sons' clothes, but definitely not big enough for all of them. I am going to have a glass top made for it so the boys don't scratch it up. People shouldn't complain about the size when the dimensions are clearly available online.

This dresser was exactly what I expected regarding size and color. It's a sturdy build and the drawers are deep and roomy enough for my 3 yr old's clothes and toys. However, the drawers do not glide. At all. As a matter of fact there is so much friction in the middle drawer that it gets jammed. Even my husband struggles with this dresser. The drawers' mobility is so horrendous that it renders the dresser useless.

Know what to expect before you purchase

Many of the other reviews claim that the dresser is small. Its not huge, but for a toddler there is plenty of room. I knew how big the dresser would be before I ordered in and my husband and I are both content with the size. Besides the wood on wood pullouts, the quality is what one would expect from pottery barn. An associate from the store told me to put paraffin wax inside the edges and it would help, but I have not tried it yet. I do wish that we would not have to take this extra step. We used UPS shipping and all of the pieces in the whole set (bed, dresser and night stand) arrived well packaged and were easy to put together. My son loves his new big boy bed and I love knowing that these pieces will last a long time.

Exactly what I expected!

Great dresser! It was exactly what I expected and wanted for my two year old daughter's room. It is well made and the drawers are easy to pull in and out. It is not a regular size dresser, it is a smaller dresser, but very roomy, and is perfect for younger children!

Wow, that's a small dresser!

Take note of the wicker basket just next to the dresser. Better yet, look at the measurements as I did not. This is a small dresser and will barely suffice. It is not big enough to use as a changing table.
This all said, it is a very nice Pottery Barn nice quality dresser. It was delivered very fast and free of charge via UPS. My rating is based on the size of this dresser, not the quality or service of Pottery Barn.

WARNING - Dimensions not correctly listed!

This dresser is beautiful - well made! However, we bought it to fit in a tight space and purchased it based on the dimensions listed on the website. Unfortunately, the dimensions are off and it doesn't fit! So frustrating! I wish they would be more accurate about the measurements!The width is 39", not 37.5".

To small for a toddler's room

I bought this for my 3 year old son and I'm planning on returning it. It is a well made dresser, My problem is it is way to small. My son could probably get away using this for a few years but I'll end up needing to get him something bigger so I'm going to return and get the Thomas extra wide dresser. This would be a good dresser for a nursery.

Good, Solid Dresser

We bought this dresser to go with the Catalina Bed for my 2 year old's new room. This is a really solid dresser, and fits all of his clothes, pjs, socks, etc. We got the Navy color, which looks really nice with the light blue paint in his room. Plus, it was delivered all assembled and in perfect condition!!

I love this dresser for my 5 year old. It is the perfect height and stores enough of her stuff. She loves the big pull-knobs on it and loves having her own dresser. I had no quality issues & would definitely recommend.

Cute, but small

I bought this dresser for my son to go with his Catalina bed. I loved that the dresser was already assembled, but it is rather short. The drawers are deep, and they do have stoppers so thats good! Because the dresser looked a little funny on its own wall (size), I put it beside the bed and its acting as a large "night stand" Im happy, just wish it was taller.

Great Buy

I gave this 4 out of 5 stars cause I have only owned it for 2 days, however I was very pleased when the dresser showed up and did not require assembly! Thank You Pottery Barn...the quality is great. The drawers slide in and out with ease, I even tried pulling on one of the drawers to see if it would come out, seeing as this is going in a toddler's room, but to my amazement it didn't budge. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and hope that it lasts for a long time.

super happy with the dresser

We purchased the dresser for my 2 year old daughter and love it. It took 5 mins for my husband to screw in the feet of the dresser. When I purchased dresser at the store I spoke to the sale person about the comments I read about the sticky drawers. She stated to wax the sliders on the drawers with wax paper. I did it and it worked. Love all of PBK products.

First mistake I made was read the reviews AFTER I received the dresser. I just wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues and sure enough they did. To begin with the top left drawer was broken. The drawers is put together with glue and grooves and it was out of place. My husband had to hammer it to put it back together. Secondly, I purchased the flower knobs from PBK and when putting in the new knobs we noticed the hole for the screw wasnt screwed straight therefor the knob screw would enter crooked. Lastly, aside from being poorly made the paint job is cheapy and chips for anything. I was very disappointed with this dresser and would definitly not recommend it to friend.

I purchased this dresser to go with the Catalina bed and nightstand. It looks great and my daughter loves her bedroom. She is 3 years old and I feel it's just the right size and even has room for her to grow. I read some of the other reviews and I do have 1 drawer that slightly sticks - but it's not a problem for me. I really love this dresser and I would recommend it.

Great value and true to dimensions

This dresser is such a great value. It matches the madeline nightstand in color that I already had, and it looks great on the other side of the bed. My 4 year old has no problem opening the drawers and it is just the right size for her clothes. I'm very pleased with the super fast UPS shipping. (Ordered on Monday and it arrived Friday!) All I had to do was take it out of the box and hand-screw the feet on the bottom! I have found that all my PBK painted furniture needs a quick wipe down with a damp paper towel and it helps with the odor of the paint, although this piece didn't seem to need it too much compared to the madeline bed we already had. My advice is to measure out the listed dimensions with a measuring tape to make sure you know what it will be and you won't be disappointed. It might be a little small for a changing table but it's perfect for a dresser!

finish easily marred

Careful placing anything that has glued on parts on this dresser. The dresser's finish reacts to any kind of rubber or object that has glue residue. My daughter had some decorated ponytail rubber bands on her dresser & the finish has corroded where they were placed.
