Not only does the Catalina bed look great but it's sturdy too. It will definitely endure a lot of baby dolls & stuffed toys & bouncing & boat sailing & tent making fun! :)

It's worked out great for our toddler. The only thing that we had difficulty with was we bought a railing to avoid him from falling off. We didn't buy a box spring and were only using a mattress. The railing didn't fit too well on the bed, we had to jam it in between the mattress and the side of the bed on top the wooden slats. We will have to buy a box spring in order to place the side railing securely.

Catalina Bedroom Set

This set is stunning! We bought two sets for our grils and could not be any happier. My husband is picky about quality when it comes to furniture and even he was beyond impressed. Very sturdy and the construction of the dresser, night stand, and bed are of high quality. We opted for the delivery from UPS and could not believe how well packaged the furniture came. It took us longer to unpack it all than to set it up! The "white" color is defiantly and off white but is beautiful and could not be any happier!

Beautiful bed!

I purchased this bed for my 4 yearl old daughter. This bed is extremely heavy duty and sturdy. It was so easy it took my husband and I about 15 minutes to put it together. Anything that I have purchased from pottery barn kids has been quite beautiful and sturdy but always easy to assemble. My daughter loves it. I love that you can use it without a box spring or with one. I would recommend this product to anyone. It's quite stunning.

Colors misleading

Beware - white is actually a yellow white almost cream. I was told (after this was delivered ups and set up by my husband) that simply white is a bright white. Not sure why white isn't white but the only option for return would be for us to repack it all and lug it to UPS. Not worth it, but pretty disappointing.
Why can't pottery barn use real color names? White should be well, white and cream should be cream.
Other than that, sturdy bed, easy to assemble and very nie.

We received the Catalina dresser damaged and cannot get Pottery Barn to replace the damaged product. I will never shop at Pottery Barn again and do not recommend them to others.

Great sturdy bed for the price

We love these beds with the matching dressers. Love that PBK has offered UPS shipping! The customer service and quality is why we keep coming back. Please keep in mind 2 things: 1) Having a drill makes putting these together a breeze; you don't have to drill holes just use it to screw in all the screws and 2) DO NOT to let kids jump on the beds. The bed is sturdy not flexible and the slats will break

We bought this bed for our toddler because she wanted a big girl bed. Pottery Barn never fails, this bed is not only beautiful, it's great quality. Super easy to put together. Extremely pleased with our purchase. :)

I love this bed. It is sturdy, cute, and easy to put together. I agree with most other posters that it took longer to unpack it that to put it together. We did it with a 3 1/2, a 2 year old, and a dog running around 20 minutes before bed time. It took more time to take apart the crib to get it out of the room. My little girl loves it, and now I can lay with her if I need to calm her down to get her to go back to sleep.

Perfect bed, well worth it

I purchased this bed for my almost 4 year old almost 2 weeks ago. I was worried that it would be damaged slighly from shipping but it was not. I was very impressed with how well it was wrapped for protection. The package included the correct number of parts/screws and it was a breeze to assemble. The finish is perfect and was exactly what I expected! Once put together - even before the mattress - we could tell that it was a very sturdy bed. Highly recommend.

Love This Bed!

We bought this bed for our 2 year old daughter and we have had it for over a year now. My husband is often overly concerned with the quality of the furniture we buy, and was very impressed with it right out of the box. And even a year later, it still looks like we just got it. Granted, I don't let my daughter treat it roughly, but I do let her be a kid. She plays in her room and on the bed everyday and there has been minimal wear-no dings or noticeable scratches. Great PB product that I would definitely buy again. And like other reviewers, keep in mind that this "white" bed is definitely not a true white. I was already familiar with PB's shade of white and was expecting it to be more of a cream color, and so I was not disappointed.

A little too shiny, esp if you like to keep things clean and dust, even using the weakest dust cleaner leaves spots and uneven marks.The slighest bump has caused many dents in the wood. Also have the nightstand which is even worse in finish. Fist week it recieved many scratches from PBK basket I placed inside. (they show a basket in it on the online pic) so I thought it would be cute. Instead rubbed just about all the finish off. This set looks about 5-10 years old already and my son hardly even plays in his room. I wish I would have went to landofnod...paid a lil more for product w/o the delivery subcharge. the delivery subcharge is funny considering the bed was left inside the box full of the white peices you seem to never get cleaned up. What a hassle. I wish i could change his bedset out all together but I can't afford paying 2k a year in changing his set out bc the quality is misleading. :(

We purchased this bed for our 5 year old daughter and she loves it. It's a very cute bed that can be dressed up or down. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because we selected and paid additional $$ for in home delivery and the delivery company didn't meet their delivery window, and in their haste almost dropped the matching dresser on our stairs (I ran over to help him). The delivery company showed up 35 minutes past the window, caused us to be late to a holiday party.

Cute, but color not what expected

This bed is very cute, and it arrived quickly. My only complaint was that the "simply white" color is not as white as I thought it would be. I have other white, non-pottery barn furniture in my daughter's room, and the other furniture is bright white, so it's obvious that this white is more of an off-white. I thought since there was a different color called "antique white," the "simply white" would be whiter, but it is not the case (unless they sent me the wrong color). It's very cute if you plan on using all PBK furniture though.
