This chair and desk set is perfect for my grandaughter. The color goes great with her big girl bed and dresser.

chair pieces mis-labeled
October 13, 2012
I just spent a long time trying to get this chair together. Finally i realized that the pieces (left and right) that connect the front and back legs were mislabeled. Once i switched them i was able to get the chair together. Very frustrating.

Great quality chair
April 24, 2012
Sturdy and easy to put together. This is a great first chair for an elementary school student and is big enough for them to use through middle school.

Nice chair, but NOT white!
June 5, 2011
It's a nice chair, however I ordered a white chair and it came in a creamy butter yellow?! It was definitely not an off white either. I had to return and purchase another desk chair for my daughter else where.

nice quality
February 18, 2011
First, I really love Pottery Barn Kids, and have purchased quite a bit. I seem to always have a small irritating mistake with the orders. This one, was missing 2 pieces of hardware. Had to wait a week, while it sat in pieces on my son's floor. Also, the stain color is not an exact match to the Thomas desk that I ordered it for. Why don't they come in the same stain colors? I have no idea. It is not a huge difference, so I am keeping it, but just seems odd. Otherwise, the chair is of A1 quality, like other Pottery Barn Kids products. It is a very sturdy, well built and attractive chair. 4 stars because of the missing parts.

Should come assembled!!
January 14, 2011
We bought this chair to go with my daughter's madeline desk. It seems to be very well made. It was not the easiest thing I have put together. I assumed with the extra surchage that it would come assembled. It looks cute with my daughter's desk. We also bought the chenile dot cushion and it matches her curtains!

Too Small
December 2, 2010
We purchased 2 of these chairs. We already owned the same chairs purchased a couple years ago. On arrival it was clear that they were not as well made as the ones previously purchased (which we love). Also, they were a couple inches smalled in all dimensions. For a small to medium sized chair it is still cute, but although the name and item number remained the same, the product did not. We had to return them since they did match the other two we already had. Pottery Barn Kids did handle the return very well and we purchased two chairs from regular Pottery Barn to more closely match the size of the older ones. They are cute chairs for children at a reasonable price. Just make sure they are tall enough for your desk/table.

Well built kids' chair
September 26, 2010
We chose this chair to go with the Cameron desk for our first grader. We selected this chair over the chair with casters, as it will be used by young children on the second floor and we did not want to risk an accident on the stairs. The chair is solid and well built. Though it is clearly intended for kids, based on the smaller sized seat, we found it comfortable as well.

Carolina Chair
August 25, 2010
This chair is ok. It was smaller then we anticipated so we had to return it. It would have been nicer if there were more colors to choose from for the seat cushion. After this purchase I have decided not to buy furniture online. With the shipping charge, extra freight and then a $13.25 charge just to pick it up as the customer service agent told me most stores won't take it then return shipping...it cost me a ton of money for nothing. I had almost thought of keeping it just for that reason, but really, we didn't have any use for it.
