Carolina Chairs Set of 2 Collection
Our sturdy kid-sized chairs are crafted of dense hardwood with a smooth, fine grain that makes them durable and easy to clean. 13" wide x 14" deep x 26" high Expertly crafted of solid hardwood. Exceptionally rich hues and antiqued patinas are layered by hand. Wood swatches, below, are available for $20 each. We will provide a merchandise refund for swatches if they're returned within 30 days. Antique Navy and Pink are Catalog / Internet only.

Great little chairs

Bought these with the Large Carolina table for our grandkids! Chairs are well made and sturdy. Oldest is 6 then 3,2 and 5 months and 4 months. This set will be around a long time!~

Great looking chairs

Great quality and look. We purchased the red ones and I love the hue. They are heavy and will withstand the wear and tear of young children. I am glad we didn't waste our money on a cheaper set and decided to invest in the Carolina chairs. I highly recommend!

Not worth it

I ordered these chairs to complement the Carolima craft table. While the table is good, the chairs have scratches and/or paint is chipped. Extremely disappointed with the quality. Ordered replacement and received more of the same.

Poor quality

We bought this expensive set for my 16 month old son because I trust Pottery Barn quality. The chairs have fallen short of these expectations. Within days we have big chips and dings. We've had friends shocked that this came from Pottery Barn. A friend with a much less expensive set reports that theirs has held up much better.

Prepare for assembly

Sturdy little chairs. Like the schoolhouse styling. Colors available are just what I wanted for the play room application. Awarded only 4 stars because these chairs now require assembly for the same price...hidden price increase in my book.

Sturdy, durable, nice.

This is a great chair for kids. the right size for our little guys. I bought them when my son was 4 years old, now he is 6 and I am still using them. We actually have had dinner there several nights. Great to sit and do homework, crafts, drawing, etc.
The only thing is that I wish PBK would sell one chair, too, instead of two of the same color, i wish i was able to pick different colors.

Great chairs!

I purchase 2 extra blue chairs to go with the large Carolina table that came with 4 red chairs. The Chairs are so perfect for my granddaughter 23 months, they are so solid, I can even sit with her at the table. We love the whole set!

These chairs are so wonderful. My kids love them and so do we! They are super high quality, very sturdy. The best made children's furniture I've seen. There are a few areas (along the back rest, the slats, etc.) where the paint seems a bit worn off. I figured it was because these chairs are supposed to have the "antiqued" look, but I called the store we purchased them from to be sure. The manager confirmed my thought: these are supposed to look a bit worn - that's why they're called "antique green". Extremely happy with these chairs, just as I always am with my purchases from PBK. Love, love, love this store!

Substandard paint job

I purchased the set of Carolina chair in antique red, the small Carolina table and an oversized anywhere chair online (I've purchased two rugs in the past, great quality!).
Everything was great except for the chairs. Along all the edges of the slats and the seat you can see where the paint wasn't applied. The light colored wood were visible, which on a red chair was very visible. I emailed customer support, which was very helpful, to get a new set of chairs. Unfortunately, the replacement chairs weren't any better. One chair was a little better and one was worse. The worse one is going to require sanding side of the seat to remove splinters. I decided against emailing support for a second set as the original and replacement set had the same manufacture date. I don't think a second replacement is going to be any better.
In the future I will not purchase any painted furniture online. If anyting, I'll purchase from the store and and inspect it there.

I was so excited to purchase this adorable table and chair set for my granddaughter's 4th birthday....but was very disappointed when the chairs arrived with a crack throughout the entire seat of both chairs!! We had to send them back and are waiting for another shipment.

exactly what I was hoping for

These chairs are so sturdy and solid that even my 16 month old granddaughter can climb up and down without them tipping. I really purchased the chairs to go with a matching table for my 3 year old grandson. But they work terrifically for both children for eating, coloring, playing. Even arrived not needing any assembly!!

We have the grow with me table and bought these chairs for it. We love them! My 7 yr old and my 5 yr old fit in these chairs very comfortably. It is the perfect height for the grow with me table with the leg extensions. I also have a 1 yr old, the chair is big for her but she loves to sit in it just like big brother and sister. I actually sat in this chair and was very comfortable sitting in it. I was very pleased with this purchase. We bought these in sun valley espresso and they are certainly quality kid size furniture. Great Chairs

I bought the chairs in red they came already together and clean up very nicely. They are child size my 21mo old loves them. I wanted her to be able to sit on them on her own and still be able to use them as she grows. She can get on and off them with little effort her feet don't touch the ground while setting yet. But they are tall enough my husband (6ft 4in) and I can sit on them and still be comfortable.

Wonderful table and chairs!

We purchased this set for our 2 year old grand daughter and she loves it. We wanted to see the quality of the set before ordering 2 additional chairs and once seen we went ahead and purchased the additional chairs. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this set as it is so sturdy and well made that my husband was sitting on one of the chairs while playing with our grand daughter.
