Love!
January 11, 2013
I got this dresser in the navy color for my sons room... it is even more gorgeous in person! If you're worried about it being too "worn" around the corners of the drawers, it isn't. I saw a few pictures after I ordered that kind of scared me but it is classically beautiful. Pottery Barn Kids furniture is the best quality that I've found in this price range... I know he will have this piece for years to come!

Strong Odor- VOCs?
January 6, 2013
Purchased dresser, camp bunk bed, nightstand, and trundle all in navy. All of it will be returned. Although it looks fabulous, and feels solid, it emits a strong glue/paint smell.
After a 2 hour nap in the room, my son woke up in a coughing fit with watering eyes. We tried airing out with all the windows open and fans for 6 hours or so (in January, yay) it didn't help at all.
We then removed the mattresses (organic latex and wool- definitely not the source of the smell) and let it air out overnight. Kids slept in our room. The smell this morning was still strong.
So, thankfully, PBK is great about returns and they will be picking it up soon.
However, I won't be purchasing furniture here again until PB manufacturing processes are more transparent. We're very happy with the oeko-tex certified sheeting we've purchased here... I just wish the same principles could be applied to furniture manufacturing.

Very Well Made
February 19, 2012
Great Tuscan finish, drawers slide well even though they are wood on wood, nice long width, and 4 large Metal Locker Bins from PB Teen just fit under the drawers on the shelf.

Camp Extra Wide Dresser
December 29, 2011
Great looking dresser and we're overall satisfied with the purchase. I was disappointed to find the shelf on the bottom only fits baskets/totes 10" or shorter. Not the 11" indicated in the description of the item. Do not use wicker or wooden baskets as these will scratch the wood.

Great dresser!
October 6, 2011
This dresser is perfect. Its real hard wood, the drawers pull out just fine with no problems. I got this in the sun valley honey color and its beautiful! They shipped it to the house and set it up, had gave me a 2 hour window of when they'd be at my house and were there within 40 minutes!

don't like the color
August 3, 2011
I ordered a weathered navy color dresser for my son. The color shows beautiful in the online store, and I also saw the similar items (Camp series) in the store which has beautiful navy blue. However, when I received it, the color is very dark in the room. Though I turned on all the light, it's still like over burnt wood. I can't even tell it's navy or brown or black if I don't take closer look at it.

Love these blue pieces
June 1, 2011
I all ready own the full/twin bunk and the desk in this set. I needed a dresser, so had to order this piece to complete my son's room. I really like the color and look of the furniture. However, it chips SO easily. The ladder and guard rail on the bunk are pretty chipped up, as is the front of the desk. I am sure I will see the same thing happen with the dresser. They seem to be great quality as far as build, and like I stated earlier, I love this blue set. However, for the price of Pottery Barn furniture, I feel the chipping is a big disappointment.

love this dresser
April 17, 2011
we bought this dresser 3 years ago for our son's nursery & used it as a changing table. tons of storage space underneath - used for diapers & blankets originally, now holds books & toys. the surface scratches fairly easily, but I think it adds to the "camp" feel of the furniture. the drawers are the perfect size & height for our 3 year who pulls out his own clothes every morning no problem. will be adding the bunk bed soon!

Buyer be wear of easy scratches and dents
January 4, 2011
I ordered the dresser, bunk bed system, and desk. I thought the blue is beautiful color. I dust it every day, because it shows dust very easy. The surface is very soft and SCTRACHES and DENTS easily. When I look at the paint on an angle it almost looks like there is a bubble in the paint. I have a three-year-old son who loves to move his cars across it. I find myself having to keep telling him not to play on the wood. The baskets I put under alos left sctrahes. So buy the cloth baskets. I don't see this lasting tell he’s a teen. If you do decided to purchase this (buy the TOUCH UP PEN! You will need it. I have no problem with the drawers they slide nice the wood is very heavy so it wont tip over. I don't think the price is worth it.

Navy extra-wide dresser
August 6, 2010
I bought this dresser in navy almost three years ago for my newborn baby's room. The height of it was perfect for me to use as a changing station (I bought a white changing table topper from PB's Kendall collection along with the dresser). I kept all changing supplies underneath in large canvas bins (10"h). It's solid, great quality. The edges are soft, which is important with a running toddler. Three years later it's still like new, drawers slide in and out very easily and do not come off (good when my kid pulls them out). I am very happy with this purchase and never had any complains.

Camp Dresser
August 6, 2010
We bought two of these dressers, one in navy and one in honey for our kids, as well as headboards and desks. I agree that they are poor quality as the metal drawer sliders on both dressers fell off and the drawers are very difficult to open or close. The finish on the navy also chips and scratches easily. The look is beautiful, but the drawer hardware needs a rework.

Beautiful but very poor quality
July 14, 2010
I fell in love with the navy camp collection and bought my son the bed, nightstand and dresser. After two months I am very disappointed with the products. the finish damages very easily - you barely touch it and there's a chip or dent. The drawers on the dresser do not work smoothly at all and I have to open them 0 my six year old son cannot open them by himself. All the catalog pics show baskets on the bottom shelf - but as soon as I put them on (PB baskets, not cheap stuff) the painted finish was ruined. I returned the baskets but the damage was done. We keep books there now but I really needed to store small toys and clothing items, not books. In addition, the smallest speck of dust shows and although I dust it super carefully with microfiber soft cloth, the dust never seems to come off, it just shifts into corners. I would not recommend it to anyone except for a photo shoot, not a real child's room.

Quality Furniture
June 10, 2010
We are very pleased with this dresser as well as the delivery. My only complaint would be with the issue of it being backordered, it was a gift for my newest grandson. However I was kept up to date by email with prospective dates.

very disappointed
May 9, 2010
From the date the dresser was delivered the draws were very hard to open and sometimes could not be open. Also after a few months the knots in the wood cracked and separated. This happened to the night stands as well. PBK replaced the items. Unfortunately, when the 2nd dresser was delivered the date 10/07 & P.O. #92407 were the same as the one being replaced and I am having the same problem with this dresser. I also purchased the bed and in addition to the knots separating the nails are gradually popping out. I will be contacting PBK to once again replacing the items or hopefully get a refund. Very disappointed.

Amazing!!
April 14, 2010
I was very lucky to track down this dresser for my 3 month old sons room. It is so hard to find Navy Blue! I have always been impressed with how durable Pottery Barns sheeting and crib accessories have held up to my wild almost 2 yr old daughter. So I finally took the plunge and drove almost 2 hours for this dresser! I am so happy I did, the craftmanship it undeinable, this dresser will last my son for a very long time to come!

We received a hand me down white crib for our new baby boy's nursery, so we thought a blue dresser would go well with it. It's better than we expected!

Beautiful and Spacious
January 26, 2010
My son loves his new dresser! The weathered espresso is a lovely color against his bright blue walls. The six drawers hold lots of clothing and slide in and out very easily. The bottom shelf offers even more, easy-access storage for things like Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon cards, origami paper, Legos, or even socks and undies. And there is lots of room on the top to display his beloved snowglobe collection, as well as a large table lamp. This dresser works just as well in a youngster's room as in a teenager's and even an adult's. All in all, we are thrilled with this purchase.
