Beautiful Dresser but .... Shallow drawers.
January 6, 2013
I love this dresser it unique and well made however I feel the drawers are a tad bit shallow and the bottom of the drawers are a little flimsy compared to the rest of the structure and doesn't hold much at all but over all beautiful and would recommend.

Drawer pulls are a problem
January 5, 2013
We bought the navy camp bunkbeds, dresser and nightstand in 2004 when our oldest was only 4! My husband even made a matching changing table/bookshelf. Unfortunately the dresser has issues. The main one being the ball bearing slides don't work. We homeschool, and I really don't mind if my kids stay in PJ's all day. However, my youngest is unable to get into his pants drawer because it it now EXTREMELY hard for ME to open, and impossible for him. That answered the question of why he stays in his PJ's all day! We are trying to find replacement sliders for the dresser, but they are not the ordinary ball bearing slides, they are 1/4 inch thick, and we have had no luck finding any that will work. Think very carefully about getting the dresser if boys are going to be yanking on it. It will not last.

Using as a changing table
August 11, 2012
I loved the look of this dresser from the moment I saw it, I just had to had it for my sons nautical themed nursery. I haven't been disappointed with my purchase at all! As I said above, I'm currently using it as a changing table as well and it's plenty wide enough for the pad and other products. My only complaint is that I wish the drawers were a little deeper/pulled out further, but it seems okay for now. We've been constantly using this dresser for the last couple months and it still looks just as good as new!

love the look and size, quality is average
August 6, 2012
We have the navy collection for both of our boys, both in blue. They've used them for 2 and 3 years now. They've held up fairly well (had to have PBK out once to fix a drawer issue, but it was free of charge). Only real complaint is the ease of scratching, knicks, dings.

Scratches Easily
July 16, 2012
We purchased this for our son's room along with the nightstand and bed and a bookcase from another collection. We've had it about 3 years and after only a matter of months the wood showed significant scratch marks along the top and from the storage baskets we use on the bottom. The drawers do not have any gliders and stick badly when trying to open and close them and they are also more narrow and shallow compared to other dressers we've had. The bed and bookcase have faired a little better. It's possible the quality has gotten better within the past few years but because of my experience I would not purchase more of their furniture in the future.

Veneers coming off
June 12, 2012
Purchased this dresser in the espresso stain. Originally very pleased with this furniture set...Within a few months the veneers started coming off on one of the drawers. Disappointing that PB is using veneers given the price of this product

We love the dresser. It is very well made and looks great in my son's room. I am never disapointed when ordering from Pottery Barn.

Nice dresser
August 4, 2011
I am very impressed by the delivery of the dresser. The dresser came alreary set up with NO stratch at all. I beleive that the handle during shipping is critical. The camp bed I bought was a floor model and it had many straches to the point that I had to paint it.
The Navy blue is very beautiful and very rich.

Drawers are small
July 3, 2011
We bought the double bed, trundle, nightstand and long dresser for my son's room in the Sun Valley color. Although I love the way it looks, the dresser drawers are small and barely fit a 4 year old's shorts! Also, the furniture scratches easily.

Great storage piece
February 18, 2011
Great piece...2 boys share a room and we needed something to work with our dark cherry furniture...the navy dresser went with the bedding and curtains (pottery barn nfl bedding)...the espresso baskets we've ordered to go underneath will give us additional storage...can't have too much of that!

Beautiful!!!!
December 27, 2010
We ordered the twin bed and dresser and both pieces are beautiful. We love the storage underneath which is great for toys, books, whatever and reachable for our little one. I love the color!!! Quality is excellent. The bed was really easy to put together and is height adjustable. Love it!!

Do Not Hesitate
November 4, 2010
I purchased this dresser in the Rustic Sun Valley Honey and it's absolutely beautiful. It has a wonderful aged look with out looking old. It's solid, sturdy and the draws seem well made. I believe this will last for years and look forward to it.

Camp Dresser Navy
April 4, 2010
Purchased this as an accent piece for our conservatively nautical home. We store books on the bottom shelf and have also purchased the fisherman's lamp for the top. These two pieces are a stunning addition to our home. Along with two PB Wingate Rattan Armchairs and the Martinique Map Pillows, this piece takes on a whole new look. Some of these pieces are more than suitable for an adult home.

Disappointed in Color
March 2, 2010
We recently purchased this dresser and the Catalina bed both in espresso and are completely disappointed in the color. We like the pieces themselves but the color is not what we expected. It is much more cherry than espresso and had I known this ahead of time I would not have purchased these pieces. We looked LONG and hard for browner wood, but not black, and thought we found something. If it is darker wood you are looking for, keep looking.

Love this Dresser
December 31, 2009
I purchased this dresser in Red for my entryway. It is extremely useful. I put a boot tray on the bottom shelf to put wet shoes on. There is enough room on the shelf to put at least six pairs of shoes of all sizes on it. I use the drawers for hats, mittens, snow pants and keys. We are very pleased with this purchase and are enjoying it more than a bench or entryway tree in our entryway.
