My husband and I had a hard time agreeing on our son's first "big boy bed." Running short on time before our second son arrived we decided to give the Camp Bedroom set a shot. Delivery was arranged and completed quickly. The quality was what we were hoping for given the price and our two year old likes it. We see it being in the family for many years to come!

I purchased this bed for my grandson and he loves it! The furniture is well made and sturdy and I am sure he will use it for many years. The quality is just as I expected it would be. I highly recommend this item.

We bought the bed, dresser, and nightstand for our 4 year old. Great purchase. Very well made and I am pretty picky on furniture! We ordered the expresso and it looks fabulous! In another review I read that the expresso looks cherry! I object 100%. It is very much expresso! The room looks wonderful in his hunting/outdoorsy room!

One small note: Have your delivery service either take their shoes off or wear the plastic shoe covers if they are going on carpet.

We purchased the Camp bed and dresser in Sun Valley Espresso and it's nearly perfect. There is a small place at the foot of the bed where the finish isn't right, almost like it was touching something while it dried, so it's a little rough and the stain isn't consistent. But I can live with it. I was hesitant about getting the dresser as the model in the store "stuck" when you opened the drawers, but I was assured that if I didn't like it when it was delivered I could refuse it. Delivery service and set up was great, the dresser drawers slide perfectly, and they had the bed assembled in no time.
I was on the fence about using just one mattress or the mattress and box spring and I read a lot of reviews. I ended up buying a mattress that is 11" deep and it looks perfect. There's just enough space between the mattress and the bed frame that I could slip in a mesh side rail that we already owned to keep my son in his bed. Overall, we love it, and so does our son.

I ordered this bdroom set for my two year old son to transition into his "big boy" bed. I was very worried about what the quality of PBK Furniture was, but once it arrived I was extremely surprised. The finishes on the furniture are incredible and the quality is great. Definately recommend for those who are contemplating purchasing this set.

Perfect for a Big Boy Room

We got the camp bed, dresser and nightstand in espresso finish for our 2 1/2 year old's big boy room. They are very high quality and a nice rich brown (however, it's more mahogany than a black/brown you'd expect for "espresso"). The hardware is a nice oil rubbed bronze look. Note the camp furniture has a slightly "distressed" look and the inside of the drawers are an unfinished wood. The drawers move in and out just fine for us with no problems. We ordered through our local store and they arranged for in-home delivery and assembly, which was very quick and hassle free. Now I just wish they also made a camp bookshelf (we got the Cameron bookshelf in espresso which matches well enough).

beautiful bed, small dresser

We bought this bed and dresser set and the matching nightstand in the Sun Valley Honey finish for our 5 yr old son. We love the appearance of the furniture and we can tell it is good quality that will last many years. We got a full size bed and are very happy with it and the nightstand. The dresser however, is a little disappointing. It also looks great and seems very sturdy, but there are a few things we don't like. The drawers are very small and shallow. My 5 yr old's clothes barely fit in the drawers. His pants folded in half *just* fit placed vertically in the drawers. I was hoping this dresser would last him till he is a young adult but as his clothes get bigger he won't be able to fit much in the dresser. Also, the insides of the drawers are completely unfinished and do not move very smoothly in and out. They are functional but I expected better detailing from a reputable company such as PBK especially considering the cost.

Love this set of bunk beds for my little man...very nice finish, and love that it can be broken out and used as 2 separate beds later on if need be. The bunk mattresses seem to be high quality, although I do prefer a thicker mattress so they are not my favorite. Perfect for my son, though, so he doesn't have to climb too far up into the bottom bunk. Delivery and set up went beautifully - on time, fast and efficient. No damage. The extra long dresser is nice too - drawers a bit smaller than expected, but then again I didn't measure for that - just looked at overall measurements which are fine. I am actually using the dresser as a sideboard in my dining room. Drawers hold extra dishes, and baskets below hold linens. Works for me!!!

the bunk bed which we purchased in honey is beautiful. the wide dresser, while nice on the outside isnt so nice on the inside. the drawers are some unfinished material which i would not be what i would expect at this price. love the look just not what we were expecting from pb.

Universal Trundle Not Easy to Assemble

Overall, am happy with the product but very disappointed about how hard it was to assemble. You need 2 people to do the project (one to hold the frame and the other to put in and tighten the screws). Lastly, one of the screws was broken and it took us a while to figure out the problem.
One other thing - when putting the piece together there was one instruction to put the screws into some predrilled holes. They weren't predrilled but it took some time to realize that the screws would still go into the wood. A bit misleading.

The espresso is not accurate. It is a CHERRY! They need to change the color swatch. There is no doubt about it. CHERRY, CHERRY, CHERRY. It is not Brown at all. BUT the color is beautiful if you are looking for cherry.

Beautiful Furniture

We had been looking for a bed set for our son for nearly 9 months. We finally decided on the Camp Full Size Bed, Trundle & Dresser. We love it! The Sun Valley Honey is a beautiful color. The furniture itself is very sturdy. And the best review I could give is that our 2-1/2 year old son fell asleep in the trundle while we were still setting up the room (very comfortable mattress!). He was soooo excited to have his big boy room. I couldn't be happier.

Solid Bunk and Dressers

After much consideration on various brand beds and traditional vs bunk, I decided on The Camp Bunk bed along with both dressers. All pieces are solid and well made. I am very happy with my purchase. The items are somewhat expensive, but the quality is defiantly worth the expense.
