This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I love this cubby and so do my boys!! It is very sturdy and easy to put together.

School storage

So far these are working out great! I got 2 of them, one for each of my kids and set them up near the door so they could keep all of their school materials organized. The cubby was pretty simple to construct once you ignored the directions and the base came pre-assembled. They look nice and seem to be fairly sturdy.

Great Storage

We got this for our daughter's playroom and it is very nicely made, sturdy and great to store playroom items. I love that we can add to it later, i.e. extra cubbies, etc. We also got the media system and it's fits nicely with that as well. The room is not large, so it's nice to have storage areas to keep the room looking neat.

Perfect for a bookshelf and toy chest!

Bought this for our first child. Arrived very quickly and was easy to put together. It is VERY heavy! You can tell it is made well (like all PB items). The only drawback I would give it, is the fact that it is so heavy and the drawer to the base doesn't slide open as far as I would like it too. But it's great!

Exactly what we needed!

Our playroom is connected to our living room, so we needed something that would not only store and organize toys but would be pleasing to look at. We are so happy with them. We ordered 2 in the espresso finish which look great with our grown up furniture. They are heavy, sturdy, and the perfect size for kids. My husband and I put them both together in less than an hour. Would purchase again.

We got the drawer base and two sets of four cubbies. Great storage space, a little smaller than I thought once assembled but gives us versatility that a book case wouldn't by way of the drawer. Recommend.

Looks great but does NOT hold up!

I had to have these for my playroom, and got them in antique white. However, 8 months later, they are looking pretty rough. We have 2 little boys playing in there, with a baby right behind them. I am disappointed that the quality is not there for the price. PBK definitely looks the best, but the quality doesn't match to the looks.

White is NOT white!

I just put together this set in white. It seems to be of average quality, although I have not really used it yet. I am, however, very disappointed in the fact that this is off-white, or cream. I have white furniture in my nursery and this piece totally clashes with the other white pieces (not from pottery barn). I am considering sending it back. I saw one other review like this, and I should have paid more attention!

I decided to purchsde this cubby and drawer base set to help organize my 13 month old toys.The product came in much earlier than expected and was very easy to put together. It looks exceptionally beautiful in my living room.

Cute but low quality

We've had this less than a month and it has chipped and scratched in several spots (we have the white), and we have not been hard on it. Also, the drawer is hard to open. We expected better quality from Pottery Barn.

Kids Playroom Storage

Heavy and Odiferous

The set is solid and looks beautiful...but there are 2 issues that PB needs to rectify:
1. The units are VERY heavy and PB will ONLY ship them via UPS. We had to pay more to have them moved and installed. PB needs to change their delivery options for this unit.
2. The units have a VERY strong odor - varnish or paint that has yet to dissipate after 3 days.

not good quality

When we first put the Cameron pieces together (a bit difficult), we thought they were beautiful and just what we needed to organize the toys.
However, the quality is disappointing, especially for the price! They are made of veneers and cheap wood byproducts- they scratch and dent with even a slight bump from a toy (at least the honey wood color) which is inevitable given their designed use! My first disappointing purchase from PB.

Two years ago we bought this in espresso stain. It offers a great amount of storage and it is sturdy. The problem is that the espresso stain scratches and nicks very easily, which is surprising for something is for children. Even worse, a one inch piece of espresso veneer came off the front of a shelf.

Beautiful Color and Sturdy

My husband put this together in about 45 minutes. I am very pleased with the wood color. It's beatiful and rich. The wood is much heavier and sturdier than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase.

get organization

I loved the product and idea of organizing all the toys. I also use a baby lock to lock the cubby with doors to keep the kids out of paint supplies and markers, etc. The only fault i feel the product has is that the honey is pine and dings very easily. Theres already marks all over and we have only had it 3 weeks and the kids have not been that rough on it, otherwise I love it.

Would love it if it were actually white

This is a great product. We have two of these in our daughters' playroom, and they help house many of their toys and art supplies. They were easy to put together, and are very sturdy. My complaint though, is that the white is not white. We have white woodwork and a white storage table from another company, and the Cameron pieces definetly stand out as cream/off-white in color. I would have sent them back if shipping wasn't so expensive.
