Great buy

We love these shelves. Easy assembly, well-made & very durable. We used them as part of an organizing wall system in our loft/play area & they look great! The price is very reasonable too, as we did some shopping around & couldn't find a better bang for our buck.

Great furniture and easy to assemble

I was impressed with the quality of the book case and how easy it was to assemle. It is very sturdy, well built, and nice looking. The directions and the amount of preassembly that was done before packaging made it quick and easy to assemble.
The size is great for medium-large toys that will not fit in standard cute shelves. Good for larger totes and bins too.
I will definately buy furniture from Pottery Barn again! (Good price too!)

Great quality, very sterdy. I love it. I have baskets on the bottom with toys and books on top. Fits great under my TV and hold cable box ontop in our playroom. Would be great in a bedroom too.

I love this bookshelf. It was so easy to put together - only took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble! It looks beautiful in the nursery. Can't wait to start building our baby's library with it!

Easy to Assemble

Love the bookcase! I thought the price was very reasonable for the solid construction. My husband and I put it together in about 20 minutes. You'll need two sets of hands - one to hold it, while the other tights the screws but very simple. My only complaint would be that the paint/finish gave off an odor that took a few days to dissipate.

I love this bookshelf. I acutally purchased the espresso for my son and liked it so much I bought the simply white for my daughter. No problem putting together by myself. Great quality.

Great for what we needed

We purchased this for our 3 year old's room because I was so tired of having baskets of books on the floor. The 2 shelf version probably would've fit the current need but we decided to go with a more longterm size. Easy to assemble. Looks great. Plenty of room. My only criticism is that a 1/2 inch to an inch more height on at least one of the shelves would work better for childrens' storybooks if you want to store them where you see the spine.

Not worth the disappointment!

This is the fifth piece of furniture we have ordered from PBK and every item has had to be returned because of parts missing and or damaged! Two headboards we ordered were completely scratched and coming apart. The bookshelves were shipped with two right side panels and had to be returned! We will NEVER order from here again!

Very Pleased Overall

I ordered a few of these shelves and overall I am very impressed. They were packaged very well and the quality is much better than I expected. The solid wood frames definitely separate these from your typical cheap particle board furniture. Assembly was a breeze! I had 3 of these assembled in less than an hour. It uses all bolts and washers with pre-drilled holes and about 9 small screws for the back panels, not those annoying cam locks you'll have with cheaper grade furniture. I think anyone would have a hard time finding a better shelf unit without spending a lot more or having something custom built. If you can catch them on sale they are definitely worth it IMO!

Sturdy bookcase

Love this bookcase. I bought it for our grandsons room and it's very sturdy and attractive. My only complaint is they should mark the pieces so you know which piece they're referring to when they say Left side, or right, or back.....in spite of that it did not take us long to put it together...maybe an hour but once I caught on to where all the pieces went it went together very smoothly. Very attractive piece....highly recommend it.

Beautiful Addition

We are very happy overall with the Cameron 2-shelf bookcase. It's a bit of pain to assemble. Tip: A few people mentioned that the back side didn't match up correctly. We found this is due to the back particle board - the one with the sticker needs to be on the bottom and the stickerless (hopefully you have one with a sticker, that is!) one on top. When we first assembled we flipped and yes, it wasn't catching in the back. The directions don't specify which particle board. So hopefully this is a helpful tip for those. After we flipped it, the top slid in like a glove. It's a solid product and would really work in any room. Very happy!

I purchased the Cameron 2-shelf bookcase in white. It arrived without assembly instructions (fortunately available online) and with an incomplete set of assembly hardware. The middle shelf is bowed along the short axis (i.e., the bottom edge of a book will not rest flush with the shelf). Overall a shoddy product to be avoided.

Perfect for just about any purpose!

I first purchased this shelf to hold extra toys and books for my 2 year old to keep in my room. It worked so perfectly that I purchased another one for a corner of our living room, to again organize extra toys and books. It actually looks very nice, and not at all like children's furniture. It is a classic design which blends into our decor. I am very pleased with this purchase. It was very, very easy to assemble (took about 20 minutes) and as usual, all tools (except for a screw driver) were provided. I will continue to order from and recommend PBK. Thanks!

I like the quality but one of the shelves I ordered I couldn't get top to line up right, very disappointed, I'm not about to take apart to send back. Easy instructions. Just what I needed. Pricey but I expect that from pottery barn, but pricey since one of the two are not lined up right

We ordered this for our granddaughter's bedroom and it is the perfect height for them to reach everything. It came packaged very well and was relatively easy to assemble.

Great Toy Storage

I bought this book shelf to store my daughters toys on in totes. This is much better than any toy box that can pinch little fingers. This shelf is bigger than I expected and well made. It goes perfectly with the cameron wall storage system and carolina craft table.

Espresso is VERY red.

We were really looking forward to the espresso bookcase, however we had to return it because the color is VERY red. Much more like a deep cherry. Be aware that the actual bookcase color did NOT match the swatch color that we received. (Swatch was a deep brown, like most "espresso" items ... actual bookcase was very red.)

great bookcase

I purchased the chestnut color bookcase and the color is great. I enjoy the sturdyness of the product and how easy it was to put together. Make sure the backside boards are placed on the correct place because the top of the bookcase will not flush correctly. I had placed the small back board on the bottom instead of the other way around and the top piece did not sit well. Love the bookcase.
