Butterfly & Rose Shades & Chloe Base
Dozens of pastel butterflies create a profusion of soft color. Featuring butterflies made of real feathers with delicate hand-painted details and sewn onto a cotton percale shade, this shade creates a soft contrast to our classic, clear Chloe base (sold separately). Overall (with shade): 11" diameter, 15.5" high Base is crafted of clear acrylic and polished steel. On/off switch on clear cord; polarized plug. Cotton percale shade (sold separately) has a polyester lining. All our shades are designed with an UNO fitter for securing shade to base. UL-listed.

butterfly shade is cute, but expected more

When I received the butterfly shade, I thought it was charming. However, on closer inspection, the craftsmanship was not as good as I expected coming from PBK. There were gobs of glue that were clearly visible between the butterflies that detracted from the overall look. The price is reasonable.

Butterfly Lamp

My five year old daughter loved the butterfly shade and lucite base. Butterflies are the theme of her room. The round metal, button-like switch is larger than a standard plastic switch so it is easy for her to turn on and off. I deducted one star due to the delicate nature of the butterflies that appear to be made of feathers. If your child likes to handle her furniture these butterflies may not stay pristine.

Love the Chloe Base!

I love this Chloe base. I've purchased two--one for each of my daughters and mixed it up with different shades. The first base came in fairly good condition. It seemed the plastic (yes, it's plastic, which at first I thought was cheap but then when it's in a child's room that may be a good thing) was sort of cloudy looking, but then I thought maybe I was being too picky. The second base had a lot of scratches on the inside. I did try to return it but the wait when I called customer service was so long, I just gave up and decided to "ignore" the flaw. I love the base just wish it didn't have the "flaw."

Finishing touch to a room

We purchased the Rose shade and Chole base and it is beautiful! I hesitated on the rose shade because of the cost, but it is so feminine and elegant. The color of the rose buds are a soft pink and add that girly touch to the room. The Chloe base looks like glass and reflects the the light. I hung mirrored butterflies above the lamp to accent the base and it's really elegant! Very happy with my purchase.

I wanted a fun little girls room and this is a great finishing touch. I replaced my daughters knobs on her dresser and night stands to clear to compliment the lamp base. It reflects the light beautifully and looks really girly with the Grace Lampshade in pink!

My favoite lamp

This lamp base is super cute paired with the lavender Penelope shade. My toddler has the entire Lindsey bedding and this base makes the room. I have white furniture not from pottery barn and wanted a white base but this was a better choice. I get lots of compliments!
