canvas bucket
January 2, 2013
The quality of the canvas material is very good & seems to be quite sturdy. However, I was not expecting to have to stretch the canvas material over the metal frame to assemble the bucket myself. After I had it stretched around the frame, the fold-over flaps did not fit/lay flat at the top. It took a while to work the material on the frame for the best fit. Another disappointment was that the personalization (name) was not exactly centered on the front of the bucket material. I expected better from Pottery Barn Kids.

monagramed bucket bags
December 26, 2012
ordered 6 of these bags. 4 arrived perfect and I was proud to give as gifts. The last two that arrived must have been sent to a discount shop for monagramming. The names were on the wrong side, one still had the stableizer still attached to the back and the stitching was loose in places. With no returns on monagramed items we had no choice but to accept them.

Don't Be Fooled - these Fall Flat
November 6, 2012
I purchased some of these cute bins thinking they would make wonderful storage options for my daughter's nursery-room. Looking at the photos, and they even show an *empty* basket, one would think this stand up nice and firm, holding things in their place. They DO NOT. There is no structural support and they fall flat, or topple sideways, no matter how full you stuff them. Therefore books cause them to fall over, stuffed animals collapse in on themselves, and it looks terrible and is not functional. They appear to have boning or something interior to help the stand sharp and nice, but they do not. They are pretty useless and I should have returned them, but at the time I was sick and never got to it. Go with the boxes that have fold-down hard sides or woven round baskets or wicker baskets if you want something cute and useful.

Cute, but cheap
September 23, 2012
I ordered this personalized as a gift to put baby items in for a shower. I received the item and put it together (simple) and noticed a rip in the seam of the canvas. Too late to send it back, but luckily I think it can be sewn back together. Save your money unless you have the time and a sewing machine to restitch it.

These do not last
September 2, 2012
I purchased 4 of these baskets for my boys toys, trucks, cars, trains and small stuff. They do not last if you actually use them. There are holes in every corner and the metal frames are all loose and falling apart. It is really a shame because they are so cute but just not designed for rough use by little guys.

Cute playroom addition
March 22, 2012
I got these for my sons loft bed which has bookcases underneath. We use the canvas buckets to house the books. We purchased the Batman and Darth Vader ones. They are very adorable and are well made. We've had them for over a year now and still look brand new. My son likes to stack them a lot, but they've held up. We did not personalize them. The navy is true to the color you see online. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because they really aren't that fun to put together. The frames can be hard to align.

Flimsy
March 4, 2012
I purchased this bucket and had it personalized with "Trains" to house my sons' Thomas Train cars. There is nothing on the bottom except the canvas, so the trains get caught between the canvas and frame and the bucket won't sit flat. Also, after just 18 months of use, the canvas bucket is tearing at the corners and around the top rim, where the metal frame pushes through when it comes apart, which is often. These are useless for anything but large, soft toys.

Not sturdy
February 29, 2012
The canvas buckets look nice but are not sturdy enough for playroom use. The metal frame comes in two pieces that don't stay connected very well. The container also needs a solid bottom to support the items in the bucket. Without a solid bottom smaller items in the buckets fall between the metal frame and the canvas making the bottom of the buckets sag.

Expected bigger
September 18, 2011
I just bought this for my 1 year old's room. I thought I would be able to use it for smaller toys are books. Medium to me means a lot bigger than what this bucket is. I would call this small. I can't figure out what to do with this now... The bucket itself seems to be good quality.

Love it
July 21, 2011
This canvas bucket is awesome. I love that the bucket is sturdy and it holds a ton of my son's cars. It also fits well in our Pottery Barn Kids bookshelf.
The collapsible storage bins are nice but if I need more storage containers in the future, I'm buying these canvas buckets.

These are great
February 27, 2011
I purchased two of these, medium and large. They are great for storing toys and books. They look great in baby's room, a play room, or the living room. Great way to store things in a stylish way and to accessorize a room.

Love these buckets!
February 2, 2011
I have many of these buckets and have had them for years. I never have problems with them coming apart or with them wearing out on the bottom. The handles are great for my kids to carry, they hold a lot of stuff and look great on a bookcase. Love these buckets and purchase more almost every year for various things.

Excellent Buckets!
January 23, 2011
These buckets are great. Very sturdy, look wonderful, just the right size and best yet, washable. The heavy canvas material stands up and does not shrink. The handles make it easy for our son to tote toys from room to room. Plus we use the handles to hang the buckets from wall hooks in his closet.
