Love this panel, BUT

I always find other reviews helpful & I can say I wasn't surprised or let down by the reviews this time either.
After reading through the reviews, I went and purchased 2 of the madras panels for my son's room. Everything was perfect about them except the length, which I had read from others. I hung both panels only to notice one looked shorter. Sure enough when I took them both down the shorter one only measured in at 83 inches. I don't understand why they can't make them even. Seems pretty sloppy to me when you are paying $79 per panel. So I had to call the store, have them order it for me online and waive the shipping. I just received my second panel & it is measuring 84". But now I have to take the time to return the short one. A lot of effort involved. My advice, if you buy in store, measure them on the spot so you don't have to hassle with one short panel!

These curtains are perfect for our little guy's nursery! The colors are beautiful and exactly as shown. They block out light (which I know will come in handy during nap time). The curtains are quality made and I would order again, and again, and again! Love them!

I purchased these curtains for my 3 year old son's room. I am more than satisfied with these gorgeous curtains. They're worth the price I paid and the pattern is so colorful and versitile. They block out the brightness when he takes a mid-day nap. There of remarkable quality!They 're absolutely perfect!!

Love them but uneven!

These panels are adorable, and I love them with the dark rod and the navy star finials. However, the 2 panels I received were uneven. One panel was about 2 inches longer than the other. Now, when I get the replacement panels, I may have to reposition the rod.

I bought one panel for my grandson's room and I love it! It covers the window when down, but tucks to one side and looks great when light is wanted in the room.

Bought these for my 16 month old son's bedroom. They are great. They block out the sun really well. Love them, they add a lot to the room. Worth the price!

I bought the Madras Blackout Panels online and was somewhat apprehensive, as some of the other reviewers said the colors weren't as bright as advertised & that they didn't blackout enough. I was beyond pleasantly surprised, as the colors were vibrant & bright & they completely blacked out the bedroom...much better than the mini blinds we previously had, ever did. I am a VERY happy & satisfied customer...would recommend them in a heartbeat :)

Excellent panels, matched the quilt perfectly, good quality, and blocks out quite a bit of light. I didn't even have to iron them before hanging them up. I'm very happy.

Madras blackout curtains

I purchased these for my baby boy who is due in November 2012. They look great against the bright blue paint. We have 3 windows in his room but the panels are wide so I only have one on each window. At first I was concerned it would look right but this pattern is so busy that it looks amazing!

Adorable, Expensive, Worthwhile

Overall very satisfied with these. They are adorable, bright and cheery. We wanted something fun and cute without being super girly in our baby's room. I think these are perfect! They block out enough light to let my little girl sleep past dawn (major plus!), and really have noticed a difference with nap time too! (Note: 8 months old now, we've had them for about 1 month and noticed a difference in her being able to sleep longer right away.)
Cons:
- pricey, but in my mind very much worth it to have well-constructed, great-looking drapes. I couldn't find anything else I'd want to look at every day for less money.
- i know it's the common name for these, but they should not be called "blackout" panels. They do not black out the room. They do however make it dark enough for sleeping.

Nice Touch to the Playroom

I waited forever for these curtains to go on sale- over 2 years! They never did, and I finally bit the bullet and bought them. I was slightly disappointed when I took them out of the package because they weren't as vibrant as I thought they would be. However, our playroom has navy blue walls and they compliment them nicely. They are good for the playroom and add to the look of the room.

These curtains are stunning! I have been looking at them for a year but didn't want to pay this much for curtains, yet I couldn't find anything that compared. The shipping was very fast and I feel they are worth every penny.

Want to LOVE them -- that said, I do like them. Cute.....
But I do have a few criticisms. The colors are not nearly as vibrant in person as they are in the picture. I was expecting the colors to "pop" - but they are a little dull.
Also, beware - not completely blackout. I have pull-down shades underneath that help, but if I didn't have those, naptime would still be a pretty bright experience for my little guy.

I waited a long long time before ordering these curtains...I'm glad i finally did, they are great!
They were super easy to put up and look great even with my inexpensive curtain rod. They really do block out the light but i think my favorite part about them is how easy they are to open and close...perfect for my son's bedroom!

I like the way these look in my boys' room. They definitely block the light which I think helps the boys to sleep longer. The boys like the panels too (which is a bonus). Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
