I love this duvet cover. I have one in blue and one in pink for my son and daughter. They share a room and the patterns coordinate.

Surprisingly soft

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft this turned out to be. I usually do not buy duvet covers because of the difficulty in putting the comforters in and how frustrating it is when the comforter slips down away from the ends. However, we loved the navy gingham for our 5-year-old. It is the perfect mix of little boy and big boy. So far, the duvet cover has been very soft and the comforter has stayed mostly in place. I would give it five stars, but the buttons would not fit through the button holes the first time I put the comforter in. I had to cut the holes a little bit to fit the buttons. However, that problem was on the full size duvet cover; the twin size we bought for his top bunk did not have that problem. It was an easy fix, just frustrating for something that cost so much!

Gingham Duvet GREAT Purchase

I ordered the navy duvet for my 2 year old sons bed. It matched his quilt (also purchased from PB) perfectly! The quality is great, and the thickness id just right. This item washes really well. I would recommend this item to anyone. Pottery Barn also has great customer service.

Love the blue...not the smell

As another reviewer noted, there is a strong smell to the fabric. I like the quality of the fabric and its better then pure cotton which gets very wrinkled.
I am disappointed at personalization on the pillow cover, its not across the middle as I would expect but on the lip of pillow case, which makes no sense to me. You would want to display the name not hide it on the side.

The fabric smelled super bad. Very strong quimic odor. Although was gone after I washed it.
I love it, I mean, is still new, just been washed once.
