Not only good for kid's room

I just bought this rug because I have been looking for a soft rug for my nautical family room. I purchased a grey color not pictured in the website. It looks absolutely great in my family room! It sheds very little & better than a jute rug which was too rough on my feet. The price was also more affordable than other rugs I have seen that were 8X10. My kids also love playing on it.

Just the perfect rug

I bought this rug for my 8 year old son and he loves it. does not have any of the problems that most of the reviews show online and i am very happy that we bought this rug. my son absolutely loves it. it goes very well with the room theme.

I have had this rug for a few weeks. It looks really good in my son's bedroom. It sheds quite a lot, but I am hoping that doesn't last much longer. Overall, I am happy with it so far.

Purchased this rug to go in our son's room. Bought the two tone blue rug. It looks GREAT! Great quality, smell was not bad at all - and we love the cushiony feel to it. As does he. Would highly recommend this to anyone! No shedding to mention thus far.

I had been eyeballing this rug for a while and my son had the crib set that matched this rug, but I didn't end up needing a rug until 2 years later. I wish I would have gotten it earlier! You can tell the quality from the minute you step on it and my boys absolutely love playing on it!
It's soft, durable, and cushiony!

We bought this rug for our son's nursery. Our color theme is baby blue and brown and this rug looks perfect with our furniture, bedding, and chair! It does seem to shed a bit but not a big deal. We are thrilled with the room and can't wait for him to get here!

Looks amazing in my son's room! Very durable, soft and thick. No rug pad necessary. Also, didn't have any type of chemical smell that other rugs do. Was able to unroll it and place it in his room without having to air it out.

This is a very nice rug. I have the green with brown and khaki. My teenager has one in his room and my 3 year old has one too. The rug is very nice and well made like most PB items.

Beautiful but oh the shedding

I bought this rug 5 years ago when my son started to crawl. While it is an absolutely beautiful rug and provided a great amount of cushioning in his room, the shedding is a major issue. We had three cats in the house at the time we purchased the rugs and they had nothing on this rug! I would vacuum and within hours there'd be a layer of wool on top of it again! The shedding finally slowed down after many long months, but even now you don't dare sit on it in black pants...and it's five years old and trust me is vacuumed with a Dyson constantly.

OK. I purchased this for my son's room (we did the batman themed room from pbk) It looks just gorgeous and is so plush and soft. But like our cats, it sheds like crazy. Since we have this on top of a carpet similar to the middle color it is not as noticeable as it would be on hardwoods, but we do see lots of fibers on the step-stool next to my son's bed, his desk next to it and on our pants if we were sitting on it. I really wanted to give it 5 stars b/c it is gorgeous, but the shedding is an issue. I will say I could have easily given it three as well, but d/t our carpeting it is OK for us.

I bought this for our son Cooper's nursery. We bought the 3x5 size and found it to fit and look perfect in front of his crib. It does shed a little, but I haven't found this to be a problem as other reviews have. It is very durable and the colors are vibrant. It matches perfectly with the Owen Bedding and navy Sailcloth curtains. This will be an item he can grow with for many years. Another great product from Pottery Barn.

Just received the rug yesterday, the colors were spot on to what I expected from the picture and a good size. I have not vacuumed it yet so I am not sure about the shedding but so far so good.

while this is a beautiful rug, it sheds horribly, the kids clothes are covered the wood floor is covered and anything that comes in contact looks like you were in a fight with some hairy animal. i feel like all i do is vacuum vacuum vacuum and more more "hairs" just keep coming. not sure how long this rug will last the way it sheds. i wish i could say i love the rug, but that just isnt the case.

Non-Stop Clean-up

We love the color and thickness of this ryg but it has not stopped shedding in 3 years... it is a 3x a week or more effort to vacuum and clothes are always covered with fuzz. Wish it were easier to keep clean!

This rug was a second choice to the rugby stripe, but turned out to be a really great fit! It is a really awesome quality, perfect size and really beautiful blue color. I was even more impressed with it when I recieved it in person.
