Our son is thrilled with his new quilt and sham. It's a great transition from pre-school to big kid. The colors are vibrant, but not childish. We are all happy!

Very Good Quality

This is a very nice quilt. It is thicker than most of the kids quilts I have seen in the store. My son loves it and the sham. We live in MN and come winter time, it is going to be nice to have a little bit of summer in his room.

Just what we wanted

We're extremely picky when it comes to furnishing our kids' rooms when they move up to "big beds". I had trouble finding bedding for my son for his nautical bedroom that was playful, but still nice, would hold up for years, and looked like a little man bedspread. I've also had trouble in the past with comforters/quilts ripping in the washing machine. This one is great! The colors are just perfect for a boys' room. This is a very nicely made quilt. My dad, whose family had quilts for 40+ years said this one is made very well and will probably be able to be passed down through my son's family someday. We don't even have a comforter underneath this. It is the perfect weight to sleep under for him. I always recommend Pottery Barn quilts to people I know. They last forever!

My son's nursery adopted a surfing theme as items were added. I was thrilled to find this bedding online when it was time to upgrade to a big boy bed. It definitely lives up to the PBK quality standards, the colors are vibrant and we've already received lots of compliments. My son is proud to show off his bed...and so am I.

The quilt is beautiful and very well constructed. The colors are true to what you see online. Most if all it is very warm and cozy without being too bulky. Perfect for my 9 year old son to grow into.

nice to mix and match

got this comforter and also the shark duvet, the madras curtains, it all mix and matches so well. Lots of compliments. My only small complaint is after a few washes some fading did occur on the red patches. But still looks great!

I would highly recommend this quilt. It lives up to Pottery Barn's standard. I just bought it and haven't had to wash it yet, but I love it so far!

The colorful patchwork was a great inspiration to re-decorate my 4 year old sons room. The navy/red colors inspired bold stripe patterns on his walls. Surfboard decals and Skateboards from PB Teen helped finish the look (and several other surf themed items). The only reason why I did not give this a 5 star is due to its softness. Although, I think my kids are just spoiled because they love the Lil' giraffes chenille blankets to cuddle.

Best Bedding ever

This quilt is so amazing!! My son's nursery was done in all bright colors, so when it came time for his 'big boy bedding,' I wanted to find something that would fit all the accessories and coloring I already had. This quilt did just that. The colors are vibrant and so beautiful. The quality of the quilt is amazing. The material is sturdy and very well made. Perfect for summer and winter temperatures. I am EXTREMELY happy with this purchase!
Since the coordinating sheet set is out of stock, we paired it with the 'SHARK' sheet set and it looks so wonderful. The colors are just gorgeous!!

I bought the quilt for my daughter who does not prefer pink or flowers. She loves the colors in this quilt and I love that it's not too "boyish." The quality appears to be good, I expected it to be a bit more substantial for the price though...it is a little thin, lightweight.

Even Better Than Expected

As our family's first purchase from PB Kids online this was a smashing success!The colors are deep, saturated and look as though they will eventually develop that lovely, soft fading an antique quilt achieves with time and many washings. I anticipate these will only look lovelier with time and use. The mixture of reds, blues and greens coordinate with a variety of other shades and allow you to go with either warm or cool tones for other furnishings or paint in a child's room. A perfect weight for warmer summer nights-does not get kicked onto the floor. The quality of the fabrics and stitching are superb. We also ordered the feminine version for our daughter after she fell in love with the boys' quilts. Bought for my own children, but I plan to use this bedding on my grandchildren's beds someday. Fantastic, retro beach prints, sure to be a visual indication that summer has arrived each year they are happily brought into use!

I ordered this for my six year old son's room. It looks fantastic! We paired it with the shark sheets and he loves it. Once he outgrows the shark sheets, the quilt won't be too childish to keep using with plain coloured sheets. Love it!

I had this same bedding for my son's nursery and decided to get it for his big boy bed as well since his room was already decorated in this theme. The colors are nice and bright and he'll never grow out of it so it's worth the $$.

I purchased this quilt for my 5-year old son's room. It was my husband's first choice, not mine, and I had doubts that it would go with my son's sports-themed room. After putting it on the bed, I fell in love with it. The quilt is outstanding looking and appears to be well-made, though I have yet to wash it. The weight is medium to light and can be used in our warm summers. I would definitely recommend it as it brightens up the room and looks cheery.

I bought this for my grandson's room. Can't wait to actually put it all together when their house is finished. Great quality, only regret is that I did not order the sheets before they were gone.
