Brett Baseball Shade & Batter Up Base
Carved to look like a baseball bat, this lamp features the words Grand Slam. Embroidered stitching on the lamp shade resembles a classic baseball. Crafted of solid oak and finished by hand with leather taping. Hi/lo switch. UL-listed. Linen shade is lined with vellum. All our lamp shades are designed with an UNO fitter for securing shade to base. Title 20 compliant lamps will be shipped to CA addresses. Learn more to understand product differences.

Perfect fit

This base and shade are a perfect fit to my son's room and the jr varsity set. The base is sturdy and it even came with a light bulb!

Great for Baseball themed room

Very cute lamp, but shade has yellow hue when on at night. Not crisp white like when it is off during the day. Aside from that, love this latest addition to my son's baseball themed bedroom.

I was reluctant to spend so much on a lamp for our son's nursery, so I searched the web for something similar, but everything just looked cheap.
I'm so glad I purchased this lamp base and shade. It's great quality and can definitely grow with our son.

We purchased this lamp for our sons vintage baseball room. This lamp is one of my favorite things in the room, and we get so many compliments on it! Very sturdy and looks fantastic!

This is such an adorable lamp, we all love it, especially my son. It's a great height and gives off a lot of light...perfect for bedtime stories!

Not Exactly like the Photo - But Cute Idea

We greatly looked forward to this lamp arriving...my boys acted like it was Christmas day. First we opened the shade, as the top and bottom pieces arrive separately. The baseball shade is awesome...we love it. We were hoping the bottom would be just as great, but we were let down. The wording on the bat - which is what I thought really made this neat and unique - is barely noticeable. The lettering is not dark like in the example photo. Plus the wood grain is very harsh and not as smooth as it appears in the photos. Overall not a very attractive wood grain. Also, I think the proportions of this lamp are off - the base is too tall for the width and length of the shade. If they would have made this 2 or 3 inches shorter it would look better....IMO.
Overall a cute idea in theory, but a let down in reality. Sorry PBK

Since my son just turned 2, I decided to give his room a big boy makeover. He has been obsessed with baseball since birth (a slight exaggeration) so I knew a sports theme would be perfect! I looked everywhere for some accents and came across this lamp and base. I ordered it immediately and couldn't wait for it to arrive! The base arrived first and it was much bigger than I anticipated. I was anxious to receive the shade to see them together. WOW! It looks even more amazing in person! It is definitely something that will last a long time. The only complaint that I have is that the shade is very loose, but I may just not have secured it properly. DEFNITELY worth every penny!

Coolest Lamp Ever

I love this lamp, it is so cool. It's better in person than in the pictures. My son is only 6 months old but I couldn't resist getting this for him. I only have one complaint. The ring where the light bulb goes was broken into pieces when delivered. I called customer service and they sent me a new lamp base right away and I mailed the broken one back at no charge. They were very nice and helpful.

This lamp and shade is ADORABLE!! It is the perfect accessory to my son's room. The quality is top notch. The worse thing was that we didn't get the base for like 2-3 weeks because we received the wrong item the first time. Other than that, everything was great!!

We ordered the Brett Baseball shade and base. The shade is a MUST have if you choose the base. The base arrived before the shade and I was undecided about it. 2 days later the shade arrived and I was blown away with how great it looks in our son's sport themed room. Both are great quality. You won't regret it!

Love love love this product. We just made our little boy's room into a "big boy" room using a sports theme. This lamp adds so much to the room. Couldn't be happier with it!

My husband and I bought this lamp base and shade for our son's bedroom. I loved it online but even more so in person. My husband thinks its the coolest thing he's ever seen. We paired it with the baseball duvet cover and shams from PBK and his room is awesome. There are two levels for brightness which is nice too. This is definitely worth the money.

Even cuter in person than in the pictures. I looked high and low at kids stores for a baseball themed lamp. Found it at PotteryBarnKids and I LOVE it!! It looks like a real baseball! My son loves it!! Highly recommend. I don't normally write reviews, but I had to write about this one.
