Monterey Bassinet Bedding
Tuck your newborn into our sweet and sturdy bassinet. Satin-stitch trim on the soft cotton percale bedding gives it a tailored style. An embroidered khaki chain runs around the fitted interior and the pleated crib skirt. 37.5" wide x 22.5" long x 38.5" high Bassinet is tightly woven by hand of wicker that's been sealed, with wood detailing and a cross-braced platform for stability. Top can be removed to create a separate sleep basket, which can easily be transported anywhere in the house. Bottom shelf provides extra storage. Rolls on locking casters and includes waterproof mattress pad. Bedding (sold separately) is tailored from pure cotton pique and is detailed with a classic, satin-stitched embroidered frame of color against a white ground. Bedding set comes with a bumper and bassinet skirt. (Fitted sheet sold separately.) Bassinet bumper and skirt are pure cotton pique. Bumper has lofty polyester fill. Fitted sheet sold separately.

AMAZING

I got this as a shower present and i was in love with it right away! My son is now 6 months and just growing out of it. Since i have black dog and wanted easy access to the shelf, i didnt use the white skirt and the bassinet is still beautiful. I planon keeping it in the family as long as possible! Love love love it!

Beautiful, but hard to put on bedding.

Once you figure out how to put the outside bedding on, it all makes sense. It took two of us to figure it out. Both my husband and myself were baffled for a bit. Then I realized to look at the online photo. We had the seam that separated the two parts on the wrong place. It belongs in the middle. (as pictured). The ties are a pain on the inside. The bumper was the easiest thing to put on. I do wish the fitted sheet zipped around the outer edges instead of being stuffed inside. Also when the mattress pad shipped to me it wasn't even in plastic. But overall, it's the best I've seen online or in stores. And like everything nowadays it can be challenging to put together. But don't give up! You can do it! The storage space underneath will be used for extra swaddle blankets. :)

Although I agree that the mattress pad that comes with this could be thicker I can tell you this is the SINGLE BEST BASSINET on the market. My sister used this exact one 10 years ago for her son, and then her daughter and passed it down to my son 7.5 years ago to use. It is wonderful. It is so roomy and sturdy. Due to it being roomy your newborn can stay in it up to 5 months with ease perhaps longer in many cases. Years ago it was fun the bedding came in pink/green/blue gingham options which we just loved. Its to bad they don't have that available.
If your considering purchasing a true bassinet this will is the best one you could purchase.

DISAPPOINTED AND INCONVENIENCED

Fabric is cheap looking and does not lay correctly at all in the Bassinet (as shown in picture) Mattress is completely flimsy. Do not order On-line, biggest inconvenience ever! You will want to see this in person before you buy it, trust me!

Excellent Bassinet

I used this bassinet 2 years ago for my first child (boy) and I'm using it again now for the new baby (girl). It's really pretty, sturdy and a good size. I kept my son in it for 4 months, and plan to keep my daughter in it at least as long. The shelf (storage) underneath is roomy and the perfect place to stash extra diapers and wipes, etc. Functional and beautiful and well made, highly recommend!

Great quality. Poor casters and mattress.

This bassinet is well constructed and the bottom shelf is a great place to store extra diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, etc. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality with two notable exceptions. The casters are plastic and the locks for them are always in the way of your foot. We also had to buy a better mattress. The one that comes with the bassinet is flimsy.
