Bailey Shag Rug
Add texture to nurseries and bedrooms with our irresistibly soft shag rug, table tufted of nonshedding acrylic-blend yarns. Table tufted of a blend of acrylic fibers. Cut pile has a plush, velvety feel. Nonslip backing is recycled and attached with synthetic latex. Use with our Rug Pad (sold separately). Imported.

Nice, but sheds

A nice accent piece, but it sheds. It's a creamy color and I like how it has lightened up my baby boy nursery, but lie down without the use of a blanket. It gets all over your clothes and I worry the baby will want to put the fuzz balls in his mouth when he gets older. You'll need to sweep regularly. I am hoping the shedding reduces overtime.

So soft, but don't be fooled

I bought this rug to go in my daughters nursery, but after 5 months am having to return it. Although it looks great and is so soft and feels wonderful under foot, It sheds so much it's like having a big white dog in the house; we are always having to clean up fur balls. You can't even lay on the rug b/c of all the rug fibers that stick to your clothes. I thought I could handle it at first and that it would cut down with use, but that has not happened. It also traps and holds on to dirt and is already looking dirty in spots and ours gets very little traffic. Due to the long pile I'm not sure it would be easy to clean and would need cleaning often. I would say to avoid this rug and hope that PBK makes significant changes in it's design. On another note, customer service was beyond excellent and had no problem offering to send the rug back and give me a refund, I am very please with them on that front!

Can't stop the shedding

Before purchasing this rug in March I read the reviews and they were all positive. So I thought the shedding must be a temporary problem because the rug was new. It is not temporary! Seven months later the shedding is still a major issue! I have to vacuum this rug almost daily which fills my canister vacuum with lint and even then I still find fuzz balls everywhere in the house! It is such a problem that I cannot even wear black pants in this room because the fuzz from the rug ends up all over them! While the rug is extremely soft the mess that it causes it not worth it!

Shedding Nightmare

We purchased this carpet for our new daughter's room and it has not stopped shedding. It's been over 4 months and it's falling to pieces.

shedding nightmare

I've never reviewed anything before, but this rug has been such a problem I wanted to warn others. We bought this rug for our baby daughter's room and have to vacuum our entire house daily because of how much it sheds. I thought the shedding would stop after a while, but we've had it for 2 months now and we are still all tracking cotton ball-like fuzz around the house. I can't even put the baby on it because she is covered in the fuzz and ends up trying to put the fuzz caught on her hands in her mouth. I'm not sure how others didn't have this problem. I have tried vacuuming the rug many times to pick up any loose parts of the shag but it doesn't help. I'm so frustrated I feel like we will have to get rid of it. We aren't neat freaks, but have these fuzz balls everywhere is driving us mad!!!!

We've only had this rug for about a week so I can't speak to how well it will hold up but it seems great. Very soft. Not too shaggy. A tad more yellow-ish than I expected but it looks great in the nursery. Very pleased.

This rug looks great in my son's nursery. I had been looking for a while & finally decided on this. It does shed a little but it's not bothersome at all. It's super soft so my son loves being on it to play!

This is a really cute rug and it's super soft. The shag is a good length so it looks and feels very velvety but doesn't look untidy. All of my children love to roll around on it and call it the cozy rug. I bought it for my 18mth old son and will probably buy one for my 5 year old also.
It doesn't shed which is a real plus. A very good buy in my opinion.

I'm very pleased with this rug. It's the exact color I thought it would be and it's extremely plush and soft. Perfect for my nursery! I haven't had it long so I don't know if it will shed, or how it cleans but from what I've seen so far I love it and it's just what I wanted. I searched everywhere and this was the best price I found as well!
