Baby Hand Print Ornaments
Create a precious heirloom ornament of your baby's handprint with our easy-to-use kit. It comes with air-dry clay to make a simple impression of baby's hand and a grosgrain ribbon to hang it from the tree. The Glitter Baby Ornament adds a hint of sparkle. Cookie cutters allow you to make a 4.5"- or 5.5" diameter size ornament. Impression material requires no addition of water, no mixing and no baking. It is soft right out of the packaging, and simply air dries once your impression is perfect. If you make a mistake, just repeat the impression until you get it right! Comes with impression material, wood dowel rolling pin, two cookie cutters, red grosgrain ribbon and plastic straw hole punch. Glitter Baby Print ornament includes all of the above plus snowy glitter and glue.

I bought this to do a newborn handprint. First attempt was an epic failure. Thankfully you get several chances. I tried 5 times and every time the print was just too faint to look like anything. So I tried with my older child since he can press his hand hard into the clay but it was just the same, no imprint. Do not buy!

Great Ornament Keepsake!

I purchased two glitter ornament kits to use with my 3 year old and 13 month old. I found them very easy to make! There was even enough marshmallow dough leftover (after making both boys' handprints) to use for a footprint ornament of my youngest. The dough does take quite some time to try, but it looks fabulous once it does! The glue and glitter were easy to apply once dry, and the red ribbon for hanging is a beautiful decorative accent. I would highly recommend this product. It makes the perfect keepsake for years to come!

I purchased three of these as gifts for family and was not pleased with the end results. The clay is nearly impossible to roll out evenly and once the hand is pressed in the clay you can barely see the print. I do not recommend this product.

So Easy!

We've tried a couple other handprint kits and this was by far the easiest one to use. If you make a mistake, you just start over. There are two different sizes which is nice for older toddlers. And it is light weight so it won't break your tree branches. Love it!

Handprint Ornament is Wonderful

My daughter is 4 and so this handprint ornament made for a wonderful craft her. It also made the ornament much more special as she made it herself. The clay was very easy for her to knead. The kit comes with everything you need. No mixing or measuring. The clay is a gorgeous white color. It drys soft, which is nice. If the ornament where to fall it wouldn't crack or break. I'm so happy with this ornament.

Great experience and activity for the whole family

This was a great experience and activity for the whole family to bring us together for a craft at the kitchen table. I will recommend the Handprint ornaments to all my family, friends. Great Activity for Kids and Great Results

My daughter is 21 months and we had a blast making these ornaments together. The little rolling pin was just her size and she loved 'helping' me roll out the dough. She doesn't have a long attention span, yet we were able to make these together with no problem. It was really helpful that the dough was all ready to go. The activity was easy to prepare for and clean up. I loved it! And the little ornaments are going to make perfect gifts for the grandparents.

Came out better than expected!

Excellent keepsake for baby's first Christmas

This kit was so easy to use even with a squirmy 4-month-old. The clay material was easy to knead and roll out which was good because it took us a few tries to get the perfect handprint we wanted. The clay also didn't smell or leave any kind of residue on my baby's hand (although we did wash it right away anyway). With the exception of the ribbon, the kit had more than enough materials to make two ornaments, so we gave one to Grandma and kept one for ourselves; nice unexpected perk.

Impossible to get good impression

I agree with some of the other comments. The material is way too spongy and takes too much pressure to make the impression. I have a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a 6 month old and with the amount of pressure needed to make the imprint I was afraid I was going to hurt their little hands. We also had to do multiple tries because once we'd get a good imprint 5 minutes later the material had sprung back up. There is no way the pictures shown were done with this material. Total waste of the $$ I spent for 3 of them. Redid them all the old fashioned way with flour, water, and salt.

Neat idea

Wish it wasn't the spongy material and a little harder so more durable in years to come. I feel like my kid could rip this in half. I do like how you can re-roll it though, as I had to. We did it last year and my daughter was 2. Bought one for my other kid to do this year. 4 stars because it works and it's reasonably priced.

Cute Idea for Preserving Your Child's Handprint

I love the idea of having my kids put their handprints in a permanent form and then pulling them out of the Christmas box year after year. I love Pottery Barn Kids and could basically live in that store so I knew that this product would be high quality. It was very easy to use and took about 2 minutes to complete making. The hardest part was getting a deep enough imprint so you really have to push your kids' fingers in there. I think a footprint would be cute too. The glitter is a nice effect as well!

Love this ornament! It's cute and timeless. The plain ones seem a bit too basic to me, but the glitter ones are classic but special. My baby's hands are so tiny that I was even able to squeeze TWO ornaments out of this package, one for her hand and one for her foot. Darling!! I was going to make salt dough ones, but this is SO MUCH EASIER and looks classier too!

Cute ornament, easy to make

I bought this as a gift to a mother of a child I watch in my home. She is 5 months old and I thought it was so cute. I also thought the print was a little hard to get, as you have to press down into the dough but she didn't mind and on the second try we got a perfect print! I like that everything is included. I am sure she is going to love this ornament from her little precious!

Easy Product to Use

I thought this was an easy product to use for my son's hand print. We did have to do the hand print multiple times to get it to take as it seemed like you had to press extremely hard to get the print. I've had to do that though with all types of clay I've used for ornaments and even so this one seemed to keep better.

I have a 1 month old, and wanted to put his hand print on this ornament to keep for years to come. The marshmallow material is too spongy and wouldn't take his hand print. This was a waste of money.
