Beanbag not so tough on the inside

I love the look of this bag. My daughter loves it. The cat loves it. The canvas outside has held up well to a 4 year old's exertions, HOWEVER, I went to wash the cover recently and discovered the inner bag (containing all the messy "beans") had split along the seams...in many, many places. "Beans" were everywhere, and they are a styrofoam consistancy, which made a difficult clean up. I ended up taking the bag outside to shake out what I could and stitch up the largest tears. I noted several places where the seams were stressed as well, so I know this is going to happen again and again for the life of the bag. I am disappointed that PBK didn't make their inner bag stronger, as my daughter is petite and does not abuse this bag. The material it is made out of is a gauzy, filmy material that cannot be expected to last long. We've only had this bag about a year. When I get tired of repairing the inner bag I will be buying a bag from somewhere else or slipcovering this one.

Oversized Beanbag is Truly Oversized!

If you're considering size, make sure that you really do want an adult-sized bean bag. The 41" diameter description is misleading and cannot be right. I think it's larger than 41" in radius! I ordered the Oversized Beanbag for my 20-month-old, thinking that the extra 10 inches in DIAMETER (not radius) would give her perhaps another extra year of use. It definitely doesn't have the cutesy, upright look of the smaller size that's pictured and the personalization gets lost. It's well made, but after spending more than $150 after taxes and fees, I've literally been joking that she's going to taking it to college with her!

uncomfortable beanbag

I was unhappy with the beanbag chair because it was very stiff and uncomfortable. It has very little flexibility and it is difficult for my daughter to sit on. I think this is because the "beanbag" is actually full of styrofoam not beans. The slipcover was great, the colors are vivid and the embroidery was flawless, I am considering buying another beanbag and using the cover.

Love the color

I ordered this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it! It's a great beanbag that will really grow with her. I love the grass green color and like that the cover is machine washable. The beanbag is, however, much larger than I expected, so make sure you have a good space for it!

BEAN BAG ALL THE WAY

I HAVE 4 KIDS AND BEAN BAGS ARE SO COMFY DURABLE AND SAFE FOR THEIR PRECIOUS BODIES. GREAT FOR WASHING 100% COTTON, BREATHABLE MATERIAL, NO DOUBT AN INVESTMENT. AND YOU CAN PUT IT ANYWHERE AND THEY WILL FEEL SPECIAL. MY CHILDREN THANK ME ALL THE TIME. I GREW UP WITH BEAN BAGS THEY ARE A LOT OF FUN! ENJOY

My 1 1/2 yrs old daughter absolutely loves her new bean bag chair! I had her name sewn on it in the hot pink threading. It was a Christmas present for her this year. She loves sitting on it w her books and stuffed animals. She loves running and flopping on it. My husband and I are even able to fall on it when playing. = ) She even enjoys laying on it and watching a show every now and then. I wasn't positive if I wanted her to have the chair or bean bag at first. Extremely happy with the choose we went with. There is so much she is able to do with it. We went with the OVERSIZED one. So glad we did too!!! Much more fun and she'll be able to use as she grows! Highly recommended!

Best beanbag money can buy

This was a HUGE hit with my 8 year-old daughter at Christmas! She loves it and it's very durable. My only wish is that there were more color variations available for the embroidery, but overall, an excellent purchase!

Great transition from a glider in the nursery

our son wanted a bed and we new it needed to be a mattress on the floor he rolls around alot. we had to move the glider out of the room and no longer had a place to sit and read books together. this made the transition difficult. we read others reviews about getting the larger size bean bag and are thrilled. we read books and cuddle, sit by his bed/mattress until he is ready to fall asleep and he loves sitting on it by himself to read alone. we love that the cover has a lock on it and is removable to wash if needed.

Nice Product But Hard for my Child to get on

The bean bag is great looking, but is just tall enough so that my 2.5 year old (who is big for his age--probably size of avg 3 yr old) can' t really get on top of it, and when he tries it just rolls over. So at this point, it's really more of a good looking toy than functional seating for him. I am wishing I'd ordered him one of the anywhere chairs instead, though I'm sure the bean bag will soften up and flatten out a little and as he gets bigger will be a more useful chair/lounger. The quality is great--fabric seems very durable and well sewn! So I do recommend the product, but either if your younger child already has a good chair or if your child is a bit older (say 4)...don't count on it as a cosy reading area for a 2-3 year old!

Bought this for my teenage son (suggest oversize for longevity). The quality is superior, worth every penny and certain to last and last. Personalization made it even more special. Don't hesitate!!
