Better than expected!

Just purchased this for my 4 1/2 year old daughter for a Christmas gift. Chose the red with white embroidered personalization. Love it! Quality is even better than I expected. Not sure the red will hold its color that well when washing but very cute nonetheless. Can't wait for my little one to open on Christmas as she is in a huge puppy-loving phase right now. I imagine her toting this thing around everywhere.

My son received this beautiful sleeping bag with his name on it for his 2nd birthday. The quality is what you expect from PBK, very thick and attention to detail. The bag is slightly large for him at the moment, but he can grow into it for years to come. He loves petting his dog, very sweet.

Shaddy Dog Sleep Bags

Super cute sleeping bags, my kids absolutely loved them as Christmas gifts and sleep in them on their beds for now... of course planning on using as sleeping bags for sleepovers at Grandma's and cabin trips. I have to admit I was disappointed in the lack of cushion these sleeping bags have. I feel like I first need to put a thick blanket on the floor and then the sleeping bags on top. I would have wanted them to have more cushion and be softer for that price! They are adorable though.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter last winter since she kept on loosing her covers in the night and waking us up to "tuck her in". She loves it and has used it as her primary bedding during the cooler seasons. I have washed it in a cold wash and have tumble dried it on low heat and it has washed well each time. I meant to order the toddler version since my daughter has a toddler sized bed so this one hangs over the end of her bed but it will probably last until she moves up to a twin bed anyway.

my little one loves the color blue and puppies. this sleeping bag will be perfect for her for christmas! cant wait, i know she will have so much fun with her own blue puppy sleeping bag that has her name on it! she is three and we got the full size bag, its much larger than i thought, it will last a long time and is so cute and nice and thick. great quality!

My second shaggy dog purchase

I gave my first granddaughter the shaggy dog sleeping bag two years ago. She slept in it in her bed every night. It has been washed many times, and it held up well. My only complaint is that this bag is thin. Must be on carpet for comfort. I just ordered one for my second granddaughter, along with the moose sleeping bag for my grandson. WOW, the moose bag is so thick and plush. Liked it much better.

My daughter has been eyeing this sleeping bag for a while now... she is going to love opening it up on Christmas morning. I already opened up the package and checked it out, and it's in perfect condition. Another satisfying Pottery Barn buy!

I can't wait to see my granddaughter's face when she opens this on Christmas! I know she is going to LOVE IT! I was very satisfied with the product when it arrived. The quality seems very good, but wasn't surprised since Pottery Barn usually sells quality merchandise.

I bought this for my 19 month old granddaughter and it is amazing! The quality is excellent and the personalization is just beautiful. My 20 year old son was with me when we opened up the box and "Layla" was the first thing we could see and even Uncle B thought it was cool. Looking forward to many fun "camp outs" with her and her shaggy dog sleeping bag.

Beautiful but careful when you wash it!

We received this as a gift for my daughter and we all fell in love with it. Beautiful and very well designed and stitched. The only problem is when we washed it, we carefully followed the instructions but the material of the dog's face and paws became rough. It lost all its softness and flufffiness :( We still love it, but it will never be as soft again.

My daughter is in LOVE with this sleeping bag and sleeps in it on the floor of her room almost every night! It is super snuggly, feels great, and the quality is fantastic! It is so soft (the doggy parts) that I just want to snuggle up myself! Go get it asap!

This is the fourth Shaggy Dog bag I've purchased; 3 as gifts and 1 for my daughter. Everyone loooves them. Comfy, cute, soft and made well. Not something I'd camp in necessarily, but great for sleepovers, etc. You won't be disappointed.

Great but not long-lasting

I bought this sleeping bag 2 years ago when my daughter turned 1 - she's been using it pretty much every day in daycare since then. it is fairly lightweight and convenient to roll up and velcro closed. I have 2 complaints - the dog face was soft in the beginning, but after a couple washes, the soft shag turned crunchy. BUT I just noticed a few days ago that all the batting inside the sleeping bag has bunched up - so there are parts of the sleeping bag that are pretty much bare and other parts where it's all bunched up, so that there's a giant lump right where her back is. I would expect this to last beyond 2 years, even if it was washed frequently (once every couple weeks). I was happy with it for a long time (other than the crunchy shaggy part) but now that it's pretty much unusable, I would NOT recommend it - you could probably spend half the amount for a comparable sleeping bag that would also only last 2 years or so.
