Not only is she the cutest baby doll, and excellently made, I have never seen my daughter immediately attach so quickly to a doll. I even purchased another one in case something happens to her.

My daughter's favorite doll

My daughter has loved this doll more than any other doll since she was 18mos, she's now 3yrs. Lucy has been everywhere with us and held up great. She is soft, washable, good size, and her features are simple enough that a child can let their imagination fill in the rest.

Love this doll!

We purchased Abby for our one year old daughter when we began sleep training-she takes this soft and cuddly doll to bed every night and everywhere else too! Abby is now the "comforter" instead of Mama and nursing. Just ordered the doll wardrobe and diaper bag too! Everything is adorable and of good quality.

Larger than I thought

This is doll is super cute and she is much bigger than I thought she would be. I know the dimensions were given but she is a nice full doll, really an armful. My 2 year old is going to love hugging her and carrying her around. Super cute face as well. Simple top and diaper with easy velcro.

Buying gifts after the baby has been born is difficult. New mothers are often deluged with 0-3 month clothes that the baby will outgrow in a nano-second.
Baby Doll Abby is a safe, cuddly option. Cute to look at, soft to the touch, and no dangerous sewn eyes. It is sweet and girly.

Lucy Doll is PERFECT!

I decided to order the Lucy doll even after I read all the poor reviews it received. However, I honestly could t find anything that I liked better. Most dolls are made of plastic and just look so disturbing. These dolls are so soft with simple expressions and soft yarn hair. My daughter squealed with delight when I pulled Lucy out of the box. She's the perfect size for my toddler to manipulate. I haenhad no issues with the head flopping or the stitching coming undone on the hands and feet. I ordered this along with the super cute pink umbrella stroller and the Lucy doll fits perfectly inside!

Abby Baby Doll - what a cutie!

Received the Abby doll in record time - ans she is DARLING! Very soft and basic - a good toy for a one year old girl. Clothing and diaper are all velcro, so nothing difficult to put together - and my daughter likes the noise velcro makes! Hat is sewn on to Abby's head so it can't get lost. She is about the size (not weight) af a 2 month old baby - so she's easy for a little one to hold and cuddle. We all like her a bunch!

Cutest Baby Ever

I ordered this Dolly for my 16 mo old daughter for Christmas. The size of the baby is bigger than I expected... it's the perfect size!! Well made, very happy with the quality! She hasn't put her Baby down! I would highly recommend this baby! It so cute and sweet I couldn't be happier!!

The fabric used to make this doll is poor quality..... It pills and wrinkles. I am surprised Pottery Barn would allow such a low grade fabric to be used for this baby doll. For the cost of this doll better fabric could have been chosen.
The head wobbles it's just not sturdy enough.
I have always bought from PB because I thought I could count on the quality. I am not so sure after this purchase. Any time you cheapen a product and then charge an exceedingly amount for it, there are bound to be people like myself who start to question the company and their motive.

Cute, but overpriced

We got this doll for our 1 year old as her very first baby doll. I liked it because it is soft all over and completely washable. It is very cute, exactly as described and pictured. She likes to hug the doll and point out it's belly button. Even so, it's not quite worth the $39 price tag. My daughter actually prefers the cheap-o baby dolls over this one...slight bummer for mom! haha. But it's still way cute, just overpriced. Get it with a coupon.

Still a great gift

I read the reviews and knew that the current version of the doll isn't made of the same sturdy fabric as it was two years ago. My daughter received the Lucy doll when it still came with the footsie suit and the material resembled canvas material. The dolls I received recently are made of a material that seems more fragile/soft. As they are gift to my nieces I can't speak of its sturdiness. But the dolls look amazing and I am sure the nieces will love them as my daughter has loved hers.

We already have one that we got a few years ago for my oldest daughter and since my youngest now understands baby dolls and what you do with them I frequently find my girls fighting over it! So a new one for my youngest for Christmas seemed like the best answer!

This is very poorly made. I bought it for a birthday present for my daughter and am very disappointed. the belly stitching is coming out , the neck of the baby is limp and the baby bobbles.. Just all around not so happy with this purchase. I will be returning. For the money it sure wasn't worth it.

I ordered Abby for my baby's 1st doll. It arrived in good time. I was surprised at the dolls size - not a bad thing I just didn't think she was as big as she is. Before I opened her box I noticed a large discoloration on one of the legs. It actually looks like she has a bruise on her knee. I was very disapointed that whomever boxed my order didn't see the discoloration. I'm sending Abby back for a replacement and hope to be pleased when the new doll arrives.

I agree with the other reviews of how wonderfully durable and soft this dolls is. My favorite thing about our Lucy doll is that she looks like my daughter (who is biracial). I love that she has a doll that has the same skin color that she does.
